Jim Harbaugh On Injury Updates Vs Titans | LA Chargers
Uh Josh Harris’s window open. What’s your feeling on him potentially for? We’ll see. We still have uh still have uh some days left, but excited excited that his windows open. You guys letting go opens opportunities for guys on the practice spot potentially to play this Sunday like Yeah. options. Yeah. you see either of them uh do they have a one foot ahead of the other? I know I’m sure you have Scott here, but what’s that process like? Uh yeah, the same same as we go by. Play play the best player, the most prepared player. Uh just as far as the practice schedule this week, what was the thought process as far as doing Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday? Yeah. Uh just the way I’ve always done it. Um you know, season opener, a Wednesday, a Thursday, a Friday, and then two Saturdays. We’re going to have an extra day. Uh before a Monday night game, do it the same way coming off a Thursday night game. Same uh as opposed to having two Wednesdays or two Thursdays or two Friday type practices. Um that way the guys uh you know get the work done earlier in the week and then leading up to the game uh they can be fresher potentially jumping out of their skin to play in uh in the game. So tomorrow be basically block day walk the base. Yep. So we’ve had a Wednesday, we’ve had a Thursday, today was a Friday practice. Tomorrow will be a Saturday and then Saturday will be a Saturday. Two Saturdays. two Saturdays just with with Will Dley. He was inactive, weren’t it? U with Will. He was inactive on Thursday. Was that related to this illness that he’s dealing with now? Was it related to the knee that he was dealing with? Was that a healthy scratch? Yeah, I think Josh read all the uh all the the report, right? I think it’s just better to go off of his his report. Yeah, just as far as being on Thursday. Yeah. You guys felt like Yeah, for that game plan, we thought we felt the other four were fit that game plan better. Nico Reed might get a little bit of a run and you’re the healthiest too. I mean, as we talked about the other day, I mean, uh, you know, being somebody’s 95%, you know, may not be better than somebody’s somebody else’s 95% or 96%. So, he wasn’t healthy and he also did I said healthier. Okay. Healthier. Yeah, he’s had he has he did have an MCL, right? But you mentioned like a Trey for example starting the game was at least health factored into that decision health factor in a little bit. Yes. Yeah. Very very you know just somebody’s cleared they come back they may not be you know better than somebody else at their at their level of um you know what they were working through. People are working through things and you know they get back and then there’s a There’s a level there percentage. Cool. But but it wasn’t like the illness hadn’t started at that point. The illness was a this week kind of situation or was that also part of the calculation for you guys? The Yeah, the uh illness came the next day, right? Yeah. Correct. Which I thought I thought I mentioned that. uh looks like you might play a little bit. What are you looking forward to with attack? Uh just opportunity. He’s been preparing and um you know, always excited, you know, for for a next man up opportunity. You know, it’s just always thought that that that it’s not just another game to them, you know, it’s the game. So, uh, I get fired up for that opportunity. But I kind of know what you’re gonna say, but I’m just gonna ask anybody with with do you are you willing to share like his injury? Is it like a fracture, sprain? Like what is it specifically that he has? The uh the medical report. I’m gonna not a doctor. I’m not going to uh I’m gonna have a dumb look on my face because I just don’t have a medical degree. a lot of lot of good things hanging on my wall. A medical degree is not one of them. Ask you to be a doctor. Just ask what the doctors tell you. Yeah. Even sometimes we’ve we’ve seen in the past that that interpretation can be can be uh inaccurate. So lean to the accuracy of what’s reported.

Still being out hurts the most! Hope the defense can ball out and the offense can keep it going!🙏⚡️
Let’s get up big and rest EVERYONE
Don't even gotta watch this to know that "he's working through something" and that "I'm not a doctor, but getting better evtry day"
Stop being cheap and go get us some help in the trenches coach, you know ball! We can’t win with these cheap rentals you guys are bringing in, go get us some real help. Such as jets DT Williams and a good oline man who can play now. I’m willing to live with the results, but looking forward at things rn if we don’t get players we may not make the playoffs
Popper's a burnout artist, man! And the other guy is just stupid. "Im not asking you to be a dr……." I mean, when y'all gonna figure out, Coach won't disclose injury info!
Oh my gosh these reporters harping on the injury stuff. My god, it’s a waste of time when will these reporters get it.
Always hype up a chargers video🤟🏼
D Pop is such a Clown 🤡, Wish they’d send him to Cleveland.
I think what the Chargers are dealing with is teams being able to mimic some of what they're doing. It's eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth type of football. But you don't want that you want to be able to gouge out their eyes and pull out their teeth while you keep yours. They talk about a bend don't break defense and that's scheme related right? And it seems like when teams have been playing the Chargers they're doing the same and they're able to mimic that. The Chargers offense has been ranked as one of the worst offenses in red zone efficiency. I dont think it's a coincidence that the Colts they knew that and they were like you know what it's 4th and goal let's go for it and score a touchdown. That's what they did and that's what happened and that's what helped them build a fast lead. And the Chargers offense they haven't been good in the red zone they've been settling for field goals. Every good football team has a good head coach. The nfl is not just player driven it's coach driven too. Football is not like all the other sports. There's 53 men on a roster, you have all these different positions, there's position coaches, coordinating of the offense and the defense and of the special teams, there's strength and conditioning, dietary and hydration, equipment, trainers, doctors, practices and games, 11 guys out on the field at any given time, you just have all this stuff going into it. And I'm not saying the head coach should be in charge of all of that but he should be accountable for how the team plays and if the team is winning or losing. Accountable is subjective right because you need the players, but you need the coaching. And who's hiring all these other coaches to the coaching tree? We all know what we've been watching the past year and a half or so hasn't been a Jim Harbaugh team. That game where the Raiders beat the Chargers 63-21 was less than 24 months ago. So Harbaugh was brought in for a reason. He was brought in to coach the team and he was brought in to make the Chargers better. So he needs to have the control that he needs to have in order to get to work and make the Chargers better and do what he was brought in and hired to do. And the offense and the defense has been too scheme reliant. Both the offense and the defense can't be mismatched in you're trying to win. First let's start with the defense. How is this Chargers defense going to react against each and every offense each and every week? Just roll in with the same scheme and play everybody the same? There has to be specific game plans each and every week for the offenses that the defense is playing against. What I did last week is not what I'm going to coming out and do against you it's going to be different. And you want to have game plans specific for the defense right? At least I think you do. Because you dont want teams mimicking a scheme because there are good defensive schemes. And also every offense is going to be different, they're not all built the same, they have different players and they function differently. And what about the Chargers offense? How are they going to execute every week? And this is why you need a good head coach because he's the guy that brings the game plans together for the offense, the defense and the special teams into these master game plans. Because a good head coach can do things with the team that other coaches and teams just cant mimic. Because if he has something going that's really good you dont want other teams to be able to easily mimic that and do it against you. And finding a good head coach to hire is hard. When the franchise is in a perpetual state of searching for a head coach that can really make that difference in wins and losses that's not a good thing. Because without the head coach you will not win in football, even if you have good players you will not win. The players on the other hand it's different.
This video was a waste of time
All I wanna hear is we are sitting Bozeman
Please don't play Derwin/Ladd/Becton, give them 1 week to fully heal
If I had to go back to working for someone, Harbaugh's would be the perfect personality of would want to follow.
