Minnesota Wild Prospect Spotlight: Charlie Stramel

  1. Don’t hate Stramel but need Yurov to be 2c to enjoy the guys. Ek has always been a 3c no matter what the hierarchy says. There’s really no place for Stramel unless he absolutely kills it.

  2. This team’s bottom nine has exactly 9 spots that are available for an upgrade. All applicants welcome.

  3. I will bet Stramel does not sign with the Wild next spring. He will then become a free agent. Rossi, Yurov and Ek occupying our top 9, He looks to be an Ek replacement but Ek is not going anywhere anytime soon.

  4. Rossi and Yurov are not at the point where I’m willing to throw away Stramel because we are set at Center. Make room for him and see what happens.

    Kaprizov/Yurov/Zuccy
    Rossi/Ek/Boldy
    Foligno/Stramel/Hartman

And if Yurov can’t win face offs he swaps with Rossi, but I like Rossi next to Ek and Boldy.

  5. As someone who sees Yurov at the 2RW in the future, Stramel could possibly be the 3C in the future replacing Hartman when his contract ends. A big right shot would be nice.

  6. Has Minnesota and Stramel talked about a contract? I haven’t heard much from Stramel’s side?
