49ers’ Jauan Jennings, hurting all over, working to feel good during trying season

  1. He got 2 raises in 9 months and then didn’t come prepared as a professional didn’t practice – didn’t train with team. And he’s shocked he is injured and not game ready – he went from a top talent/ future stud to the biggest diva

  2. The interesting detail in this situation is he won’t be hitting any of those incentives that were added late in the offseason. So it appears to me, and obviously I’m on the outside looking in, that he doesn’t care to play with motivation. I believe he’s playing through some injuries.

Football is a rough game and he usually plays as hard as they come, but that fire isn’t there. That dawg in him hasn’t been out on the field this year. Kinda seems like he’s just gonna ride this out and chase the money next season. And I’m not hating on him for that, but as a fan I just want to see that JJ that was playing last year. That guy is amazing.

  3. Initially I hoped they would pay him because he’s been such a great team player. He was just asking for way too much and handled it in the wrong way. Maybe there is coming back from this.

  4. People hating at Jauan for wanting more money, you can’t blame him! Dude was mostly drama free unlike Deebo and BA, and if he gets injured badly and doesn’t perform like he did last season, he won’t get that last big contact.

  5. Kyle doesn’t completely shutdown the possibility of him being traded by the deadline, just said he’d be very surprised.

As long as a team doesn’t need him as the primary target, he’s still good for some blocks and 50/50 3rd down balls. Every NFL starter that’s playing at this point is injured in some way and availability is the best ability to have.
