The Yankees could trade Ryan McMahon

They just traded for this guy, but could they trade Ryan McMahon again? Yes, it’s in play. Their infield mix doesn’t make any sense right now. And someone has to go. I’m not saying I want McMahon traded. I don’t know if I want him as the full-time third baseman either cuz I kind of like Pop at the corner. I drove the McMahon bus for years. It was just a sampling of the offense and it clearly felt a little bit off and I don’t know if there’s more in there. But 16 mil for a third baseman that definitely has the glove and you’re not sure what you have with the bat, but he doesn’t fit this current Yankee. He is a luxury piece and the Yankees currently don’t operate in luxury pieces.

  2. “We need the pop” is the exacte phrase I don’t want to hear anymore. The Jays are on the brink of winning the WS and all they do is have none stop competitive at bats. The only guaranteed pop we need is Stanton, Judge and Rice. The rest can all be bat to ball hitters, working the count and playing fundamentally sound baseball, that’s all I’m asking for

  3. McMahon played excellent defense and honestly was having some of the best at bats in the lineup during the postseason. At least he was working the count and making the pitcher work then putting the ball in play most of the time. They need more guys like that not less

  4. Yankees need to stop playing games n acquire a real Ace for once..As great as Cole is he’s getting older, Max fried is 50/50 in the playoffs can we rly say we trust Carlos Rodone?? Thank god For Cam Schlitler but he still young n growing

  7. Can we please for the life of me get guys that can play the game the right way ? Bunting,being a tough out with 2 strikes , running the bases smartly . Is it so much to ask for players that will play the game hard and the right way .

  9. I keep saying this and I’ll say it forever . The Yankees do Stanton and judge a HUGE disservice!! You get mad a guys for striking out constantly… well your two power guys are more than half of the time hitting with no one on base . Anyone that has a clue about baseball knows pitching to Stanton and judge with no one on base is way different than with guys on .. Yankees need hitters that make contact put pressure on the defense… ENOUGH WITH THE STRIKEOUT PLAYERS !!!
