Mac Jones Will Officially Start

  1. Sheesh purdy and pearsall have been out for half the season already. Fuck this season

  2. This is a good thing. Starting Brock at MetLife would have the potential to be a disaster.

  3. Remember preseason when we were all looking forward to our favorite players on the field playing football?

  4. Mac works best when given competent play calls other than CMC 1 2 3 only options

  5. I’m glad he’s not starting considering the fact that we’re playing at metlife

  6. God fucking dammit. I just wanted to watch Brock Purdy throw for 6,000 yards and go 17-0 this season. Was that too much to ask?

  7. Usually it’s every 4 years that our entire team gets hurt. Now it’s every year apparently.

  8. This is some kind of sick joke. Who remembers the good old days when Brock might miss “a couple games”?

  9. I get that people are scared of MetLife but it’s also kinda a must win game so I’m a bit disappointed

  10. They should have just had Brock have the surgery. Clearly this isn’t just a minor injury and it’s so frustrating that both of these were called minor and they are season ending.

  11. Why didn’t they put Ricky on IR if it was going to take this long for him to recover.

  12. Will this guy ever last a full season? My guess is no especially with a porous OL. Smart to get his money, dumb by Lynch to pay a guy who’s always gonna be hurt

  13. If Purdy isn’t back next week, then I will start asking questions. I don’t disagree with starting Jones this week because it’s MetLife and the injury curse doesn’t need to be tempted even more.

If they win (Big frickin IF) it’ll be 6-3 through 9 weeks. Which given all the awful injuries will be amazing. If Brock is ready next week it’ll be time to start the playoff push in earnest.

  14. Shannys playing 4d chess, keeping Purdy and pearsall (and maybe Aiyuk) healthy for the playoffs

  15. So we are sacrificing mac jones at met life

hope to god there are no injuries on that turf. even for giants players.

  16. Metlife is where players go to get season ending injuries, Brock don’t need to be out there particularity with an Oline that falls apart due to a light breeze.

  17. What’s wild this year is the unknown time tables. Purdy and pearsall could have been ir spots
