I really don’t put a lot of weight into anything Dulac says.
ARII said a few years ago “it’s time to start winning playoff games” and that’s all you need to know about his expectations
If Dulac says it I know it’s not true
That nepo baby bum couldn’t give 2 fucks about this team winning anything.
God I can’t wait for Dan Rooney to take over.

Tomlins not getting fired. When he’s ready to leave, he’ll leave on his own and not one second sooner. Unless Art steps away and we get a new person atop the black-n-gold pyramid that has the cojones to do right by the team and the fans.
Serious question: Does a playoff win or improbably a run extend Tomlin past 2027?
Art, find a way to invest in your staff, and your training and recovery facilities. And open that wallet when there is an obvious need to fire/hire people. And if you can’t, sell to someone who can instead instead of asking your coaches to make risotto out of pocket lint and beans.

Yeah I think Art is starting to realize at some point he can’t keep listening to Tomlin blaming coordinators. Tomlin is the head coach and the average play on defense for the last couple of seasons falls on him.
People say we should’ve kept Brian Flores are delusional. No way that was going to happen. Tomlin wants his defensive system and no one can or will call him out on it.
It’s starting to seem like his voice is losing its credibility in the locker room. Players don’t seem to be riled up for him anymore.
Tomlin needs to go. One what you see is what you get.

Are we supposed to assume ownership is ok with lack of success?
Of course they are getting frustrated with tomlin. Art also close to handing over the reigns, wants the next Rooney to be in good hands. Tomlin is falling behind, there isn’t much else to blame anymore. The offense is competent, the defense, tomlins calling card is holding the team back.
I’m not a fire tomlin manic, but if the defense is bad, tomlin serves little purpose. He outsources the offense to the OC, him and Austin are failing.
If the highest paid defense allowing the most passing yards in the NFL after not winning a playoff game for 9 years doesn’t spark change literally nothing will.
This is the year we find out ARII gives even a single fuck about this team.

This is interesting. To me this says the org as a whole, internally, had high expectations for this season after the summer, maybe for the first time in a while, so seeing the same old mediocre shit really is chapping Art’s ass.
