Sorry if this is not allowed but thought who else would know better then Knicks fans. Looking at buying this jersey from eBay (from Aus so can’t physically go to MSG to buy) but the numbers look a bit off? I’ve requested more photos of close ups, but wanted to know everyone’s thoughts on it so far

  1. Off rip it looks fake because of the wrinkles. I think real jerseys wouldn’t crease like that because the fabric is too heavy.

  2. A lot of eBay sellers buy blanks and the numbers separately and put them on themselves for sale. There’s a decent profit margin there if you’re good enough of a tailor. I would not be surprised if that’s the case here

Sort of legit in that the blank jersey he bought was probably real, but not the actual thing you could get from MSG because he put the numbers and name on himself perhaps

  3. Always tough saying from a few pictures, but do the letter all have different thicknesses??? If so, there’s your answer.

  4. It looks like the fake one I bought. The beige color around the letters is too dark just like mine. I only paid like $18 though

  5. The cut is good , see if he can send you pics of the jersey inside out just to see the stitching. I say it’s an authentic jersey but customized name and number

  6. I looked this guy up because I would have bought this even if it wasn’t truly “authentic”. He charges way too much lol
