NHL Highlights | Avalanche vs. Golden Knights | October 31, 2025

for the first time this year. Great to have
you with us. Your opening face off sponsored by the Richard Hammers law firm McDonald’s as
the game is underway at the Fortress Colorado beginning a quick twoame road. It’ll be in San
Jose tomorrow. The Golden Edge will be here for tonight and for their next five. Jack Eel into
the zone. Ivan Barbership trying to feed it out in front. Of course, Alexander Holtz bumped up to
this line recently recently. He’ll start the game with them as well. Jay Theodore Braden McNab
on defense. Same skaters for the BGK that they have in Carolina. They only change the net with
Carl Lindbomb in. You take a look at your lineup today. Sponsored by Inter Mountain Health. Here’s
Kale Mar for Colorado. Zips it across. Score. Marty Nous from the left side on the first
shot of the game. 41 seconds in. Wow. One of the keys coming in is just the offensive power
and that guy Kale Mar’s ability to see the ice. Just get it in. Watch. Mar is going to come down
on this play and he finds the seam through to Nas who’s wide open and the one-time. No chance
for Lindbomb on this one as the pass from a car leading all defenseman now up to 60 at 40
years old. Still chugging along. He doesn’t miss any games. Game land into the zone. A
Malinsky with a wrist shot and a glove save. career start off the draw. Wrist shot from
Victor Olson and then Landiskot putting it towards the net. Olson had a huge game
for Colorado Tuesday. First hattick of his career for the other one was an overtime
loss to Montreal. That was back in 2019. Gave Landiscott charging in his shot sealed
off. Said same skaters for the BGK. Bruce Cassidy saying yesterday Noah Hannipan’s getting
closer. Golden Sisters remains day to day. Burns with a wrist shot on and that’s held by Lindbomb
and Golden Knights with a Yel line jumping on. Bucks all the way down and Wles Nelson trying to
feed it towards a trailer and Taves right back on the Golden Knights. Eel with Holtz. Eel drifting
to the boards. The trailer is Theodore for the chance and a big save. Wedgewood. Jay Theodore
with a good opportunity looking for his first of the season. Olison the other way. This shot
turned away by the stick of Lindb March of 2022. She had a goal and an assist in the fourth game of
that Dallas series. McKinnon couldn’t get to that pass. Get picked off by Henasaw with Reinhardt.
Theodore centers it. Aldor field driving in deep on the Chuskin. Mner Theodore out high. His shot
and a blocker save made by Wedgewood. Now Mar off to Nes. Zips it across for Leah. McKinnon down
low. Lean it again. Shot on. Hit Lindbomb with a mask. Doria feeds it out. Oh, this is a line that
can do damage. You cannot open those seams. They do a good job of stretching the offensive zone.
Battle Doria first one in to get it. He’ll feed it around the wall. First Vegas player with nine
goals in the first 10 games of a season. Hurdle charging in deep. Put it on net on a save made
by Wedgewood on the wraparound chance. Martner with a wrist shot blocked by McKinnon and he’ll
feed it for Olson who dumps it in. Theor first one back on it. Lost it. Landisk center is tipped
away down low. Burns with a drive. Linda made the save. 37% at T-Mobile this year. Nuskin takes
it away for Michael trying to break backander on the save off hustling back to provide some
pressure on Nuskin. There is Nas cross to McKinnon passes and escapes. Golden Knights on the
counterattack. Reinhardt with Eel. Reinhardt drops it for Eel driving wide. Put it on net. Handled
by Wedgewood and McKinnon drops it off for Taves. and Devont Taves holding for the Avalanche.
Colorado be back here for the first game for both teams after Christmas. The Golden
Knights took to Denver until April 11th, the final road game of the regular season. Eel
sends it across back the other way. Landisk trying to fight through McNav. Wrist shot from Olmouth.
Runs it right back behind the net to the far side. Nuskin Nelson held in by Carlson saw it with a
steal. Puts it towards an end. A save. Wedgewood at center ice. Howen driving wide.
Cutting towards an end. And Budgewood sealing off the post. Marner feeds
it for McNab. take a high flip down the wall and Dorian trying to get to it.
Feeds it out. Smith little knuckle puck. Second period underway. The BGK came in
today the highest scoring home team in the NHL. Scored at least four goals in all
four of their home games. Licking it with a chance and Carlson throws it in. Holtz plays
it around for Barbers. Hutton will shovel it across. No shots for the Golden Knights on the
power play. Here’s Nelson on a break and he scores. Brock Nelson took the breakaway pass and
goes five hole to make it two nothing Colorado. Oh, right at the end of the power play.
And here’s the play and it’s a great pass by Drury as he finds Nelson who goes in and
scores right as the Lanniskog penalty ends. as he finds five hole on Lindbomb who made a
big save earlier on a short-handed breakaway holding Theodore and Marner play
catch Michael again and Theodore fouron-ree power play for the Golden
Knights. Hurdle to the net scores. Thomas Hurdle with a strong move in
front has made it a one-goal game. And you’ve got Theodore rolling up and just
take it to the net. He tried into the first, tried to go far side and it was a right pad
save this time. Able to recognize there’s some room in the five hole and he just jams
it underneath. A little power move by Hurdle right to the top of the blue paint and able
to beat Wedgewood. Parker clears McKinnon at center and Parker got knocked out by McNav.
McKinnon picks it up across for Nas. Pass out of the reach of Manson but Mar keeps it in. Shot
off the post to tie this up earlier. There’s Mar coming in glove side of a game. Arner flips it
in deep. Gorilla chips it around for Hurdle. rolls off the boards, throws it down low, but
intercepted by Nas. Gains a blue line with some speed. A little spin move on Hurdle. Pulls up,
finds Burns right down the middle. His shot and he scores. Brent Burns, his first as a member
of the Avalanche to put them back up by two. Well, trailing the play. This is what the
Avalanche does do so well. Palinsky with the rush. This time it’s the veteran Burns and he is
wide open as he walks right down and goes glove side to regain the twogoal lead with a great
little shot by Burns. That’s right upstairs. The Avalanche up three to one.
White Cloud Hutton hurdle at center. Mner into the corner. Throws it down low. That
get deflected. Score. That went in. Mner threw it on net from the right side and it found the
back of the net. The Golden Knights within one again. What’s going to happen to Mitch Mner off
Brent Burns up under the crossbars as it goes over the left shoulder of Wedgewood. Here’s
a look at it. off the stick of Burns up and under and a great call. Kyle Raymond right in
position or excuse me as Brandon Shrader in position and so is Logan Martin with a minute
50 left. Hurdle in the corner. Thor in there too. Six attackers on for Vegas. Puck loose in the
slot. The car for the empty net. Skipping scores. That took a lot of hops on the way to the net,
but it found the back of the net for Kale Mar to make it 4-2 Avalanche. Not for Kale Macar
as it actually catches the stick of Theodore and heads right into the open net before
the Golden Knights could get their setup. They were in it through two. got it to within
one on a couple of different occasions, but Colorado Avalanche come to
Vegas and win on Halloween 4 to2.

  1. As someone who attended the game the Knights played like they were afraid of breaking a nail or losing an eyelash. No intensity or fire. I think someone threw a check about halfway through the third period.
