People are going to be mad about Tidjane but this was totally expected. Did you think we’d just give up on him already? Not like this is a 2nd contract. Just a year team option.

Hearing people talk about cutting Salaun is hilarious, not just because he was always going to be a 3–4 year project, but because this team is so far off that he’s actually giving us things we need with rebounding and size.
Hope Miller has a lucky break and stays healthy at some point this season. Wish we could go back in time to the day we drafted Tidjane.
We were coming off a season of playing Marques Bolden and Nathan Mensah at the 5. The way the draft was unfolding, I was expecting the Hornets to take Clingan or maybe Edey. I was so shocked when they took Salaun. That said, the pick was made. Can’t undo it. He’s 20 years old. I don’t see an issue on the team option. If he’s not looking like it might work out by trade deadline next year, then you make a move.

I’m rooting for Tidjane, he’s a big dude. Arms aren’t as long as Giannis but he has potential!
I see people asking why pick up Salauns option. Why are we forgetting that Salaun is 20 why do we give up on players so quickly?
No brainer on that, Brandon if healthy will get a very large extension amd Salaün has shown he’s putting in the work to continuing to invest in him longer.
