Hate to see this for him. Hope he recovers quickly.

  1. They’re calling it a meniscus tear on the injury report. I think that timeline covers the group play for the NBA Cup, probably the knockout rounds too I’d imagine.

  2. This sucks for him and I hope he recovers smoothly. From a team perspective I am okay with not disrupting the run that Rollins is on.

I think this also basically guarantees KPJ will be coming off the bench when he returns unless something goes super wrong

  3. He will miss around 20 more games probably, this hurts our depth. We saw what happened that Cleveland game when Cole was out.

Hopefully the rest of the guys can stay healthy and KPJ can come back by early December

  4. That sucks for him. He looked great in the preseason and the ten regular season minutes he played.

Rollins was going to be here anyways, but signing Anthony has been huge with KPJ out. So much nicer to have him, instead of past their primes Cam Payne, DJ Augustin, or George Hill.  Sears even seems capable of spot minutes if need be.

  5. Rollins is in the spotlight now. Cole a quality backup.

My 2cents: KPJ will miss 20ish games snd Bucks should ramp him up slowly so by playoff time he’ll have fresh legs.

  6. I had faith in us holding out for a few more games. But without him, we are pretty thin and the margin for error is extremely tiny. Our start to the season will be a lot more difficult than anticipated

  7. Rollins is gonna kill it either way, but we’re a better team with KPJ healthy. Damn

  8. Sucks, but Rollins should be the starter anyway, and I think this will cement that – so as far as shitty injury news goes, it could be worse!

  9. With GA out and Cole fouled out, Rollins was starting to get gassed towards the end last night. With KPJ out we need Giannis to be healthy and be the 3rd ball carrier.
