Welcome into the recap of the Bulls 135 125 victory over the New York Knicks on Friday evening at the United Center to get to 5-0 5-0 start for the first time since 199697. They take the lead and they just keep grinding. They make the extra pass. They get out and run. And then Josh Giddy is just becoming a star. Josh Giddy was magnificent tonight. And Nicole Vuchevich, I want some of what you’re drinking, my man. Holy cow, does this guy look good. He has turned back the hands of time here in the early portion of the 2025 2026 season. Let’s get into the numbers. Again, only three teams now undefeated in the NBA. One of them being the Chicago Bulls. All right, for the Knicks, their leading scorer was Jaylen Brunson. He had 29. OG Anobi had 26. And Carl Anthony Towns had a good night. 2210 and four. One of five though from three. That dude couldn’t guard Nicolola Vuchovic on his best day. I’m telling you, V just destroyed him. He absolutely destroyed him late in the game when the Bulls needed a basket. The game got tight. He put him in the spin cycle. Got it up. Got it and one. Thank you. And that put the game pretty much on ice for the Bulls. Baze 29 minutes, 13 points. Didn’t grab a rebound. That’s got to get better there. Uh he was two for five from three. Then you got 26 from V, seven boards, two assists, four of eight from three. Four of eight. And they talk about how hard he’s been working on his three-point shot. It’s very, very evident. And then Giddy, he is our player of the game. Magnificent night. 38 minutes, 32 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists. He was incredible. one assist from a triple double, four of eight from three. Another guy who talked about how hard he worked in the offseason on his three-point shot. Uh Trey Jones had eight with four boards and three assists. And IO with 22 off the bench and Kevin Herder with 12 off the bench. So a really really good night for the Bulls. And I’m telling you, uh, I talked to Joe Cowie, who is the beat writer for the Sun Times, but he hosts the Bulls Recap podcast here on our channel. And guess what he said? And Joe is as honest as they come. He said, “It’s sustainable.” He said, “I’m not telling you it’s an NBA championship team. It’s not.” But he said, “This is absolutely a legit team. They’re very, very good.” And they were relying tonight on some veteran guys the other night. 27 out of Bazeelis 5 and0. Absolutely love it. Bulls win, baby. That’s right.
