[Russini] The Eagles have inquired about two AFC East pass rushers: Miami’s Jaelan Phillips and New York’s Jermaine Johnson. Philadelphia remains interested in adding a pass rusher ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline

  1. I share a last name with one of them, I’d support that trade just because it makes my next jersey choice easier.

  2. Jaelan Phillips on a rental for like a 4th (or 3rd at the absolute highest) would be cool, Johnson will cost more (probably a 2nd+) because he has his 5th year option picked up.

  3. Phillips feels like a better player (top 20 in pass rush win rate) but his injury history is scary

  4. exactly the 2 I was hoping we would look at, Jermaine would be awesome but I think the Jets want a 2nd rounder while Phillips would be much cheaper in giving up picks

  5. I know he’d be to expensive but I like the idea of havin Bradley Chubb. Played with Vic in Denver and went to Miami when Vic was there so clearly he and Vic get along. The cap space is what makes it seem unrealistic sadly.

  6. I loved Phillips as a draft prospect. Id live for him to come here but i also remember the Miami players being pretty vocally anti-vic so not sure if he wants to be here lol

  7. I remember the Eagles being linked to both guys the year they were drafted. Joe Douglas is back with the Eagles but drafted Johnson with the Jets

  8. She said there’s not chance the Eagles get Garrett so I think they are getting Garrett. She makes up stories. She even admitted it.

  9. This is one of those situations where howie trades a day old genos cheesesteaks for an absolute need.

  10. Does this mean Nolan is gonna be out longer than originally expected, or just a depth move?

  11. I hope Howie calls Vegas to see what they want for Mayer. Seems like he could be gotten for a couple of day 3 picks. And I think they could have Mayer and keep Goedert if they so desire.
