  1. They pretty much have to do this if they want to use him as a pitcher because he can stop pitching and stay in the lineup if he’s a starter, but if they bring him in as a relief pitcher he can no longer bat. Or maybe he can bat while he’s in but then if they take him out he can’t. At least that is my understanding. It’s a little confusing.

  2. Why would the Dodgers do this? Pitching him on 3 days rest after he had a mediocre outing too.

  3. Dodgers win a game 6 to force a Game 7 with a Japanese starter on the mound vs a team batting George Springer leadoff

  4. No problem. Aside from his pitching, batting, classy attitude, and movie star looks, that guy sucks.

  5. Sounds to me like they’re gonna have some sort of bullpen game. This will end up being one bullpen against the other haha

  6. I wonder how many innings they want out of Ohtani. I guess it depends on how he starts the game.

  7. I wonder if they are going to cap his innings. Like pitch 3-4 and then flip to someone else

  8. *”Shohei’s Game 3 NLCS is the best post season performance we’ve ever seen!”*

“And I took that seriously.” – Game 7 WS Shohei Ohtani
