Kind of incredible how mid to bad the rest of the East has been. Especially shocking given that the top two teams are *checks notes* the Wings and the Habs
I am of course very happy, but this time of year this shit changes almost every single day. That said, let’s ride this bitch to #1 in the Atlantic.

It’s like it is a long season or something, and over reacting in the first 2 weeks is lame.
What’s important is that we’re playing really solid hockey right now. As far as I’m concerned, despite the closeness of the games and the low scoring, we’ve looked more complete during this winning streak than we have at any time at least the past two years. Tougher and sounder on defense, less overpassing and seeking the perfect shot all the time on offense, showing an ability to win dogfights.
If we can keep it up, we’ll be in the playoffs somewhere, and with this style of hockey we’ll actually have a shot.
There are 71 games to go lol lets revisit in mid-March
