NHL Highlights | Hurricanes vs. Bruins | November 01, 2025

he wanted to focus on with his team against
Carolina. He said, “My first two clips in the video, it’s going to wake them up. Carolina is
one of the hottest teams off the start. They’ve outscored opponents 14-7 in the first period
by Speetchnikov. Also off to a slow start this season. Starting to pick it up here recently as
Swayman gloves this puck. But in his first eight games, a nifty pass through the middle. Here’s
Posternok with a step and Chatfield bumps him. Posanak shoots and Anderson the save. And then
you’re able to find Posanok on the stretch play close to being offside as he received that
puck. Tries that spin puck rimmed around. Eer sorts it out onto the tape of Jarvis.
Eers and Swayman takes that in. That one was ticketed five hole. Carolina gets it back.
Carolina, as Adam mentioned in the pregame show, leading the league in goals for here early
in the season. That long drive. Here’s the game winner here on Thursday. Posternok shoots.
Anderson the stop [Music] was able to do that. Got himself right back up into play. That’s prime
scoring here for David Posd by Yoki Haru. Sent on that Anderson. a save and dragged out by the
Hurricanes. Greenway attracts attention every game the way he plays up the middle. Jarvis
backhand swing and beat him to the post. One-handed back in. Carolina has to tag up
and instead they’ll go for a change. Postnock fires. Anderson the save. That’s three
shots in the first period for Postnock. Lifted in by Stank Yoki Haru. Works it up
to Jano to Mitten. Barrels in Castle on his backhand. Anderson caught it off. Oh, Mitten
was kept in a good spot. Mitten made the play too. Strong stick through the middle and then he
was able to eliminate a stick to make sure that Castelik had an opportunity to get that puck
to the net. Jano Castelick backand just wide. it. Trying to tuck it in. Anderson still swimming
around. Yoki Haru shoots. Blocked in the slot. Anderson. The stop on Castelik. That puck’s still
free. Carolina’s power play is dead last in the league. And here’s Castelick. Barrels ahead.
Right circle. Back hand. And H Anderson the stop. Castle again. forehand like he was going to
go glove side high. There’s the miscommunication. Good speed. Fake it up top. Freddy Anderson read
it nicely. Gets a good push. He’s there early. The block was there. The pads on the ice. Javs
had a breakaway with the power play. One for 21. Sent out in front. Swaming a stick
save back to the corner away from Jarvis. Aspero now to Asimoth. Carali
bank pass. Asimont shoots Henderson the save [Applause] and his pass unable to find
anybody in black and gold. Elers in the slot picked off gets it back and Swam kicks
it out. So he got that away in a hurry. Now Jarvis to Aaho stops it into the slot.
Jarvis his shot blocked. I think Hustadino got it. Nikes long shot and Sway and able to see
it and Glover in the home opener in the second game against the Blackhawks. Yoki Haru took
a bump centered out in front. Swimman another great point blank save. Carolina gets the puck
back. Flip over his blade. Still able to recover. Jano peak. Here it comes. Deflected to the
corner. Castlick’s on it. Long shots. Gloves. Castler comes barreling in. Shakes
off. Speci rattles it wide. Lynholm shoots and it’s gloved by his former Ducks
teammate. Off the wall to his partner Yoki Haru. Given away. Blake left to the net and
swaming the stop. squared up to that one. They battle for the puck in the corner. Snapped
up top and Swayman came out to get that away from Stankovven so he couldn’t tip it. Eers back
playing a little D with Carolina changing. LGO flipped to the corner. Eers got in the
lane rimmed up top. LGO shoots and Swayman will easily glove that one. Jarvis to take it
against Zaka. He wins it. LGO. Blocker aside by Swayman. Arvinson has Middlestat breaking.
Broken up in the neutral zone. Who’s trying to grab it. He’s got it ahead for Pos. Got a guy
in his back. Turns, shoots. Anderson the same. There’s a rebound available. Oh, Pos couldn’t get
his glove on it. Good look from Hudnadino able to find Pino at Got the offensive blue one now with
a long drive and Swayman above the blue paint sent across Brun’s get a stick on it. Riley shoots
Swayman the save rebound. Swaying again bumped off the puck here’s Windhome his shot blocked
trying to follow up back of the net. Pardon me. Asamat wraparound Anderson the save and Anderson
a second deflects to Geeki. Hands to Hustadino back to Geeki. He’ll motor in left of the net.
Shoots Anderson the save got it. Fires blocked and this shot fired. Swam in the stop after Hall
got knocked down or pardon me. Four on two for the Bruins. Makavoy centers, deflected and score.
[Applause] Casey Middle just off the far post, chips it home. Bruins won. Hurricanes nothing.
But Milstad able to protect, play a little D, keep it to the outside, allow the Bruins to get
possession of the puck with good coverage in slot area. And now they’re off to the races trying to
create a threeon two. Makavoy uses his great speed and a nice pick up of the left skate. Angles
the skate blade so he can handle it and move it to the forehand. And even though this pass
is disrupted up to across Walker slamming the save got brushed. He went down held in by Walker.
Jarvis trapped by Zaka. Here’s Hall. Hall shoots. Blocked. Harbertson might have a step. Harbertson
to the top. He scores. [Applause] Bullseye. A top far corner. Bruins two. Hurricanes nothing.
Mackoid. Oh, you’re going to have to defend. But it’s a shot block and then another little soft
depth pass by Middlestad who’s had a strong game here. He just lays this puck out in front of
Arbertson. Arbertson’s had a number of looks here. He’s always shot ready and he gets this
opportunity because Milsat just lets him skate into it. He keeps enough separation. Would
he like to have got to mid ice? Absolutely. And it goes to a funny hop sent out in
front of a save. This puck hacked wide. Steal by Mackaoy. Mitten darts in. Power move.
Collides with Anderson. Went down. Has been outstanding. Carolina wins the draw. Mikes to
the middle. Swaming the stop and he’s going to cover up. You know, we keep talking about that
top line, but might be their best player here this afternoon. He’s been physical right from
the get-go. He’s handled the puck. He’s made but Aspro buried him. Three minutes to go. Here
comes Anderson. Empty net. Bruins up two nothing. Here’s the fires. He scores. Nikes blistered one high to the blocker side. Just going
to be standing still and tease one up. Little bit of a screen. Lesian just tease it
up. Standing still. See if we get a look at uh Yeah, but the Bruins would be eyeing
a trip to have a conversation with the officials. Don’t see anything there in terms of uh something that would flip to the
blue line. Nikes heads the puck. final. What a wild third period. But
Jeremy slam it in the Bruins.

  1. Nikishin was the best player on the ice for the canes. I am somewhat glad the d has been injured forcing Rod to give him top line minutes, and he is been outstanding. Might have to have some difficult conversations about everyone on the d not named Slavin.
