REINFORCEMENTS: Colts Activate Jaylon Jones Ahead of Steelers Game

The Colts are on their way to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers right now and reinforcements are on the way on the defensive side of the ball. The Colts finally activated quarterback Jaylen Jones off of IR from his hamstring injury. Uh they did that today and he’s going to be ready to go. That’s good cuz they need somebody to match up with DK Metaf and I don’t really know that they have anyone that matches up quite well uh really outside of him, at least those who might be active at the moment. The Colts also downgraded Taekquin Lewis to out uh with his groin injury. Now, he was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Uh so that means both him and Samson Ebukcom are out again. So they’ve called up Derell and Chami for this game. Uh JT Malo will get more work as well. Uh so overall decent news. You you love to see Jaylen Jones back again. He got hurt in week one, so he’s been out pretty much all year. Uh that’s a guy who started outside corner for you for two years. So again, reinforcements are on the way and you’re going to need him against Aaron Rodgers who, you know, he’s he’s maybe not Packers Aaron Rodgers, but he’s a smart, savvy quarterback that can get rid of the football. Offensively, you know, you’re confident what you can do against a Steelers defense that’s really been struggling.
