HUGE NEWS: Red Sox Lose KEY MEMBER Of The Organization To The New York Mets #shorts #redsox #mlb

We just had some fairly significant organizational news for the Boston Red Sox. This is why you subscribe and why you give me a follow because when the Red Sox make moves big and small or they lose key members of their organization, I make a video. Uh Tim Healey had this, Gordo had this, a bunch of Mets Mets beat writers have had it, but it seems like it’s like legitimately happening. Uh Justin Willer, who was the director of pitching for the Boston Red Sox, is being poached by the Red Sox to join the New York Mets as their pitching coach. Now, you may not know who Justin Willard is, uh but he was a huge, huge part of developing this Red Sox pitching program over the past few years from a non-existent farm system to an incredible farm system with the likes of Connelly Early, Pton, and others. This is a huge loss for Andrew Bailey and the Red Sox, and we’ll see what happens in the future and see if they can recoup some of that loss a little bit.

  2. I want the redsox to know this but keep it a secret .if you watch the ws game 5 .you will pick up sign dodgers use .Will Smith pulls on his mask to go inside for strike out .I study there signs every game

  3. I don't think he is being poached by the Red Sox. I'm assuming you mean poached by the Mets from the Red Sox. Regardless, sorry to hear we are losing a key resource in finding and developing pitching.

  4. As a long time manager, one of my first lessons was: You don’t depend on heroes. In other words, you train those around you so that the loss of one person isn’t crippling. I’d like to think a billion dollar organization such as the Red Sox understands this. So…

I’m not concerned. No big deal. Yes, Willard did a lot. But IF the organization knows anything about management, Willard got his staff trained up. They can easily step up. …that at least SHOULD be the case. We’ll see.

  5. This is a non story. Willard has been here pitching director for one year. ONE YEAR. It’s not like he’s been here for ten years and produced a handful of Cy young pitchers! This is a significant loss?
