John Schneider Message to West Coast Canadians Who Like the Seattle Mariners ๐Ÿ‘€โšพ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚

Um, you’ve uh rightly spoken about uh the Jays being Canada’s team and having support coast to coast. What’s your message to fans in British Columbia who might have a soft spot for the Mariners? Um, I even I don’t know. I think I think that fans in British Columbia I hope are Blue Jay fans before they’re Seattle fans. Um, I think we feel that, you know, I think we feel that when we do travel there, too. Um, so I guess my message is try to get some tickets and um and meet us out there.

  1. Seattle and Vancouver while having rivalries in sports such as MLS…are still a lot closer linked culturally than Toronto/Vancouver…I bet the majority of Vancouver folks are Mariners fans

  2. Dumb question. Border towns are going to have fans rooting for the American team. I live in Windsor and Iโ€™m a Tiger fan, I route for the blue jays unless they play Detroit. I was hoping for a Tiger, Bluejay ALC, that way I get to route for someone in the World Series no matter the outcome.
Iโ€™m sure itโ€™s the same for people in B.C.
    Dumb question!

  3. British Columbia born and raised and Iโ€™ve never cheered for any Seattle sports teamโ€ฆ letโ€™s go blue jays!!! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

  4. Iโ€™m on Vancouver Island in BC and definitely a Jaysโ€™ fan. No soft spot for the Mariners but I will say when Iโ€™ve travelled to Seattle for games in the past weโ€™ve been well treated. Sadly, I wouldnโ€™t enter the US for any reason at this time.

  5. I took my dad to a jays game in Seattle two years ago. The jays fans outnumbered the mariners fans 3 to 1. And everyone wears the blue so itโ€™s easy to tell.
