Who do you think will or want to see step up to the WR3 roll while Tutu is out?

I’d love to see Whittington actually come into form, but I think he fits a mold too similar to Puka for our offense. I would probably then go to Mumph or X whichever one has more of a speedster role.
Or just run more 12 and get T Ferg more involved in the pass game
Whittington is the low hanging fruit and he’s actually played more snaps than Tutu already, but I would like to see some Mumpfield and Ferguson more as well, especially in 12 personnel scenarios for the latter
Xavier
I’m sure we’ll see a bit of jwhit, mump, and Xavier. My guess is if Sean needs a burner for a play they’ll throw in Xavier.
Mumpfield route master
It’ll be interesting.
Whitt is the first obvious name, but he’s not really a Tutu replacement. I’d guess it’ll be Mumford/X getting most of those snaps
Probably be the TEs step up. So Furgeoson.
Xavier has more speed, but Mumpfield probably has more upside for our future given his size.
Still waiting on Whittington to have his breakout game. If it doesn’t happen soon, then it might be time to start looking for his replacement. He’s a great blocking WR, but he hasn’t shown as much ability to be a great route runner or reliably find those soft-spots in the defense. Plus he doesn’t have the softest hands.
X is the closest to tutu speed-wise. But whittingtons a better blocker. And mumpfield a better route runner. It will likely be a committee approach with more 12/13 personnel like we saw in London.
Mumpfield is a better route runner then tutu especially on double moves going deep. I feel like they drafted him to replace tut.
