Now that he's on the market, do you think that's too much for him, considering any team would need to extend him as he's a free agent next year?

  1. With the way Swift has been playing recently and what we’re paying him no. If the run game was still anemic, maybe.

  2. Yes. Surprised people are saying no. Has poles ever hit in the third anyhow? Regardless it’s a third, not a crazy valuable pick

Breece Hall is a very talented back

  3. No way Jose. He’s a FA at the end of the season. A 3rd round pick is under team control for 4 years. I would not do that. I would maybe do a 5th tho.

  4. I would, Breece is a beast and I think having a running mate for swift would be a benefit. He’s way better than any RB we’d take in the 3rd and I still see this as a need

  5. Dont trade any valuable pics for a team with many issues. Give Poles a chance to waste it on poor choice.

  6. Spend a third on edge or secondary. I think we good this year at rb. Monongai is underrated.

  7. For a 4th or 5th, yes. Considering our immediate needs in other areas, this would be a waste of a 3rd pick.

  8. No. Prior to the bye I wouldve said yes solely because I didnt want Caleb getting hurt having to pass on every down. Now that weve gotten the run game going we have much bigger needs than RB. Youre not getting a quality LT or Edge Rusher for a 3rd so id rather keep the pick and hope Poles can draft better next year. RB is still a need but its bots the biggest need anymore.

  9. No question. Breece is a difference maker and we never hit on 3rd round picks anyways. You can’t have 1 RB anymore in the NFL.

  10. I would do a conditional 3rd where we give them a 3rd only if we win the Super Bowl this year and breece scores a TD in the Super Bowl, otherwise it conveys as a 5th rounder

  11. In a heartbeat. Swift isn’t consistent. Just because he’s on a hot streak doesn’t mean we shouldn’t upgrade.

  12. Their ownership must want to tank. Breece was the main factor in their only win, and then they immediately are looking to trade him? lmao

  13. Would be foolish for a team that isn’t competing for a superbowl. The biggest need is pass rushers.

  14. No. We need to draft a RB in this draft instead of bringing on a guy from someone else’s team. His rookie deal expires at the end of this season. Which means we would need to pay him or that draft pick becomes wasted on a rental. RBs do not last long in the league and it’s better to draft one and pay them on their rookie deal than pay them starter market value.

  15. LT and Edge are concerns. Even if they somehow get to the playoffs this season, they aren’t going to go deep in the playoffs. That will result in a tougher schedule next season. I’d rather see them keep the picks and strengthen the roster accordingly.

RB isn’t as difficult and expensive to find as LT and Edge.

  16. Breece is worth a 3rd. He reminds me a lot of Monty, and would be a great combo with Swift.

  17. I think a 3rd is an easy YES! It isnt giving up much (he is due for a contract) and it isnt like Poles is using them well so far anyways

  18. a third is too much for a rental back

I’m not opposed to making some sort of in-season trade, but not this one

  19. We don’t have the cap space to pay him what he’s expecting to be paid next season, we can make cap space but we’d be better served using that space on filling out other holes imo

  20. We would have to pay him straight away, it’s not just a 3rd, it’s a 3rd round and 12 mil a year.

  21. No. FA after this year, no reason to spend draft capital in a year where our ceiling is a wild card game in the playoffs. I’d rather spend a 3rd on an RB with fresh legs.
