Yeah. Uh Carolina, they had they didn’t look amazing in that series, but also they were playing a very depleted Devils team. So, they didn’t have to look amazing in that series when you don’t have I think four or five players. I think Devils were missing like four or five key players. Uh they didn’t have Seganthaler until I think game three. Luke Hughes, they lost after game one. Ducky Hamilton wasn’t fully healthy. Uh, and they didn’t have Jack Hughes. Even though it went five games, I think if they had Jack Hughes, that series goes seven. I do. I think Jack Hughes wins them a couple games. The thing about Tom Wilson, and I will not deny it, is he did have he does have that moments where he does boneheaded plays, but he also has cleaned up his game the last six, seven seasons where he doesn’t really like Yeah. the the what’s it called? The the bubble season where they had like eight games against teams like he played Boston, Pittsburgh, and the Rangers. Teams that are just at the time were physical. And of course he’s gonna of course he’s he’s going to respond because that’s like literally I I knew I knew something was gonna happen with Tom Wilson that season. It’s like holy [ __ ] He’s got to play Boston eight times. He’s got to play the Rangers eight times. He’s got to play the Penguins eight times. It’s like oh god. Yeah, he’s he’s probably going to do something boneheaded. But like when he’s playing like teams like the Islanders, say Carolina, too. He doesn’t. Carolina, even though Carolina and the Capitals have been a little rivals recently, but Carolina is not a team that’s going to be they’re not they’re they’re defensive, but they’re not really physical in in the sense where they’re going to they’re going to come in and they’re going to throw you a dirty hit. Like in my opinion, every like every champion team has been dirty throughout their playoff run. I mean, look, we we had a dirty play against the Penguins in 2018. Uh Colorado had a Oh, that’s a penalty. That’s a penalty. Uh tripping caps go to the That’s Milano. Uh yes, yes, yes, Mike. Yes. Yes. Uh him to take more and he’s and he’s he’s scored. He’s he’s if you look at it, his last three seasons, his goal scoring has gone up. Uh I think LA last year he had 30 goals. The year before that, I believe he had 25. So, it’s like he he’s he’s not relying on his body as much as he used to. And I feel like because uh he is the Capitals next captain. He’s on pace for another 30 goal season. So like it’s it and I I get it. I get it. Uh once their prospects really come over, like not just Leonard, you got Chzley, you got Cole Hudson, you have uh Lyndon Lacovic, you have Milton Gash, you have all these great players. Uh once they come over, I do think the Capitals will win the Stanley the Cup at that time. But right now, I just feel like I don’t think we’re getting a Florida Edmonton final this year. Uh I do think if we do get a Florida final, it’s going to be probably Florida and Colorado. I do think the ABS are a team to look out for this year. They look really And the thing is it’s scary is they’re playing defense. And now they have they have their captain back, Lannis Gogg, which is huge. Uh and I I want to see how they look.
