Spurs injury report. Everyone remains out against Phoenix tomorrow

  1. For some good news however, the beat reporter said that everyone is fully practicing according to Mitch. Seems that the win streak has allowed for some extra time off

  2. Really would’ve liked atleast a couple of the guys to get some reps in before playing LA and Houston back to back, specifically Fox and Sochan. I guess they decided the extra days rest is more important which is fine, it’s a long season.

  3. I’m very antsy to see DFox, Sochan, and Kornet all play with the rest of the team, but if we’re playing it cautious I’m ok with that. Obviously every game is loseable, but I’m not worried about the Suns. We’re killing it with the guys we got so I’m alright letting the injured guys trickle in slowly for now.

  4. I completely understand why they’re doing this, but damn if it isn’t really really annoying. Lakers got Luka back. If nobody returns by Wednesday, I’m gonna chalk that game up to an L

  5. Could really use Sochan to eat some non-Wemby minutes… This wrist issue is starting to piss me off for a guy looking for a contract. How messed up is it?!

  6. Just don’t play Wemby 40 minutes next game. We literally brought in Kornet and Olynyk to take some of the load off his shoulders, and look where we are right now.

  7. Let carter bryant play, do the sochan center experiment. I’d honestly prefer that to biyambo

  8. Spurs bullshitting with the injuries again. Playing your 7’5 center 40 minutes with little rest is worse than having Kornet at 80% on the court

  9. They gonna bring em all back against Houston for the NBA cup, that way there is no scouting report Houston can use 😂

  10. In the latest press conference, Wemby discussed “the importance of recovery time for high-usage players due to the increased physical demands and soreness that comes with doing more on the court”.

  11. Sochan’s one of my favorite Spurs, but he’s clearly injury prone and I’m getting tired of it

  12. Tomorrow is probably the last time we can get away with this. Should be able to beat a banged up Suns team, but then next game is at the Lakers with scorching hot Luka/Reaves. We will need Kornet at the very least.

And as someone who is not a big Sochan fan, Luka is exactly the matchup where his value will show

  13. Awww man. I came to Phx this weekend to see the Spurs, and was hoping to see Fox in the lineup. Oh well, we’ll still beat the Suns and extend the streak!
