Couldn’t root for them after 2015/2016, and to top it off, they choke the last 2 games about as bad as we did in 2011.
What a satisfying game. The fact that the fans thought they had it won for most of the game made it all the sweeter.
I went into this series not knowing who I wanted to win. As time went on it became the Dodgers. The Blue Jays fanbase deserves this. They’ve have been assholes to us for a decade. Don’t forget when they threw trash at our players and babies. They deserve this. I’m glad it was as painful as possible. Congratulations Toronto you will always have your ALDS home run.
I wonder if anyone else feels a little dirty from the punch since ’23 like me. It was awesome and cathartic at the moment, but honestly pretty sad at the end of that era of relevance. The perspective shift that winning it all in ’23 really took the metaphorical impact of this punch away and I am certainly OK with that exchange. It has allowed me to rexamine the Young era Rangers.
I don’t like that the Dodgers won, but I am still bitter about 2015 in particular so I am glad that the Blue Jays lost.

Not ashamed to say it makes me smile seeing another team suffer a similar heartbreak that we had in ’11. It’s the kind of pain that lasts until you see your team win one, hope they have to live with it longer than we did.
