Watching Yamamoto come in for relief and shut the Jays down is giving me terrible flashbacks

  1. Thought the same then afterwards thought “wow an un bias commentator compared to buck with mad bum”

  2. Both legendary performances. I wonder if that contributed to him really falling off after his age 26 season. Then again he hurt his shoulder in a dirt bike crash at that time too. Maybe neither maybe both. Always respected the hell out of him.

  3. Exactly what I said to my wife. “This feels like 2014 all over again.” I’ll never forget the name Madison Baumgardner. It haunts my dreams to this day.

Keep that man off this thread.

    Edit: that man being Bumgarner

  5. That and 2015 season made it hard for me to root for the Bluejays this series. KC got the best of them in the ALCS, but I still hold some silly sports grudge against them.

  6. A few bunts and/or steals and the Jays would have won that in the 9th with a run or two to spare. Zero aggressiveness on the base path. They were trying to put hero swings when they just needed a hit or two. It was so infuriating to watch and I don’t even give a damn about them.

  7. I was at game 7 and remember booing him as he came in! Haha even thou a lost one of my favorite in person experiences!
