BIG Seahawks Trade Rumors Update + The Latest Seahawks Injury News Ft. Julian Love
Welcome into Seahawks Today. I am your host, Will Ortner, and I need you to go in and smash that thumbs up button. Like the video so that your Seattle Seahawks can get their first victory in uh what 13 days. 13 days cuz they played on a Monday night. Smash the like button for a Seahawks dub on Sunday. Light Shadow Onyx, what up? Good to see you. Real one here. Trade Walker or Sharp for Achain. Uh, here’s where I’m at on the Achain train. I think that somebody like just misheard Devon Achain’s name and the Seahawks. Like, I think it was an overheard conversation. I don’t know why the Seahawks would trade for Devon Achain. Um, I think that Kenneth Walker is just as good. Uh Sharp might be a step down, but you’re not gonna trade Sharp and have Walker and Achain. That just doesn’t make sense to me since they’re such similar style of running backs. So, I don’t see a trade being made there for your Seahawks, but it’s been very clear from the NFL insiders that you want to make a trade. So, where will that trade come from? Where will it be? I think it might be in a different position group, maybe in that offensive line, still helping out that run game. Chad, what up, man? Good to see you. Thank you guys so much for being here. Thank you, Chad. Teller would be my pick, but it sounds like there is some beef with current players on the roster. So, Chad’s talking about offensive guard Wyatt Teller. He’s a trade target that we have been mentioning here on the channel for your Seattle Seahawks for quite some time now. Now, this graphic that we have up on the screen, we made that thing early October. I don’t think it was quite late September, but then all of a sudden, everyone came out and said, “What? Wyatt Teller, maybe he’ll end up in Seattle like a couple days ago.” So, make sure that you subscribe to the channel because we get there first. And we’re pretty darn accurate when we have uh some trade targets for your Seattle Seahawks. Wyatt Teller does have some beef with the team, though. He’s the one who went high low and ended up injuring Lucha Nuosu. Now, if it’s a regular season game, not necessarily a dirty play, but definitely a play that is looked frowned upon. It’s a frowned upon play. And the defense here in Seattle does not like him. Greg Bell, a beat reporter for the Seahawks, came out and said that Wyatt Teller would not be traded for. I still think there’s an option to trade for Teller. He fits your long-term plan. Uh he is a player that would be an instant upgrade as well as you could resign him and keep him here for a long time. Smoothing it over with the guys might take a you know week or two, but I do think that that is a move option that Seattle can make. Colani, what’s up? Good to see you getting in at the buzzer. I see. Alohawks. Aloha from Hawaii. Let’s go Hawks. We should trade Reek Woolen. Look, man, he’s been on the block for the last month. I think if you can use him to go and get offensive line help, that would be fantastic. Now, the question is is do you use Reek Woolen to go and get Wyatt Teller, Joel Batonio, Kevin Zitler, or are you able to use him to go to the Tennessee Titans and say, “Hey, this guy and a pick and then we get Peter Scaransky.” Now, if you’re able to make that trade for Scaransky, man, one, that’s fantastic. you instantly upgrade your right guard position, whether it’s Zable who moves over or Skaransky who plays that position. But more importantly, you have two of the best young guards in the National Football League. Now, that obviously is a fairy tale type of ask, fairy tale type of want, but you’ve pulled a couple of those off. Ernest Jones was an easy wasn’t an easy trade piece. Leonard Williams wasn’t an easy trade piece for you. So, these are all options. I still don’t know if Reeken does get traded because I think right now you’re a little beat up. you’re a little hurt in the secondary, but if you are going to make a move and move on from Reek Woolen and make a trade, shoot, I wouldn’t be too upset if you went in and uh grabbed a an offensive lineman, helped build yourself up. I think that could be a good move. That could be a good piece for you uh as well. Hope the weather out there in Hawaii is nice and uh wonderful because it’s getting a little bit chilly over here in Texas. Uh, Borggan donor. All right, that one got me. I love the burners that we have here, uh, hanging out with us on Seahawks today. Borggan donor. I’ve been a Borggan donor a time or two. Will Julian Love ever get healthy this season? Obviously, heartbreaking news for your Seattle Seahawks. Julian Love, the safety, reinjured his hamstring. There’s a conversation that he’s going to go on IR at this point. I kind of want him to go on IR. Like Tyoka has been fine. He’s been pretty good. Better than serviceable for your Seattle Seahawks. But I would not mind Julian Love going on to IR so that he’s ready for the postseason. You’re going to the postseason this year. If I’m the first person to tell you that, um, congratulations. Pat yourself on the back. You’ve done it. You are going to the playoffs. And you need your team at 100% health to be the best, right? We saw it last year with Detroit. They had too many injuries and so they were not able to move past the Washington Commanders. Their defense really suffered. Don’t do the same thing. Don’t make the same mistake. Let Julian Love get healthy. Let him sit out a little bit of time and then bring him back when he’s 100%. Trigger real one shows up every Thursday and every Sunday, man. Putting in that work. Shout out Trigger. Thank you guys so much. Thank you, Trigger. Do you think Bwags will ever return to Seattle to retire a Hawk? Not only do I think Bwags will, I think that Tyler Lockett will as well. Obviously, Tyler Lockett just got cut by the Tennessee Titans and I came on here and I said in a video I don’t want him. I don’t want him in Seattle because he wouldn’t replace anybody. That does not mean that I do not want him to retire a seat. Bobby Wagner, Tyler Lockett are alltime great. Cool that you’re playing in Washington DC for the last couple years, Bobby. Come home when it’s time to retire. Sign the one day, retire a Seattle Seahawk. Tyler Lockin, man, that’s cool. You got to team up with Pete Carol again. Awesome. Fantastic. Keep going, man. You have a long career, but you got your real estate license out in Washington. You’re going to return to Seattle a lot. Retire a Hawk. Come back, sign him one day, retire in Seattle. Joshua, what’s up, man? Thank you so much. Appreciate it. What player do you think the Seahawks will trade for? Now, I think when we go through our trade target graphic, I think it’s pretty easy to see when it comes to offensive line targets that these are the clear, concise, hey, one of these three guys goes to Seattle. No one’s shocked, no one’s surprised. Wyatt Teller, Joel Batonio, Kevin Zitler, they’re all on the last year of their contracts. They are all good guards that would be upgrades from what you have right now in Anthony Bradford. That being said, if you could find a way to go with the PFF fairy tale trade, Peter Scrsky, that’s a long-term and now. That’s a longterm and right now. I do wish that um Wyatt Teller didn’t have some of the issues that he has with the Seahawks defense because he’d be the instant far and away number one easy choice. Uh, but obviously with the beef there, it does make it sound like maybe Betonio or Zitler are a little bit easier guys to get in, easier guys to grab, but I’m not 100% certain uh on that one. I do think that you’d make a trade for one of the offensive. Will Ortner’s burner, what’s up? That’s not my burner, unfortunately. Uh, I have a couple of them, but that’s not one of them. Will Christian Haynes replace Anthony Bradford at right guard? Doesn’t sound like it. Your head coach, Mike McDonald, came out this week and said there were going to be no changes on the offensive line, and it really sounded like Anthony Bradford is the right guard to stay as long as they continue to stay with this offensive line group that you have. If there’s a big trade, then yeah, I think there would be some changes there. But Christian Haynes coming back does at least hopefully push Bradford to play a little bit better to improve some of the things that he’s really been struggling with. But right now, Christian Haynes is not going to replace Anthony Bradford. And that’s much to the chagrin, I think, of a lot of big fans of your Seattle Seahawks. Coach Dreadhead, how you doing? Good to see you. If we trade Reek Woolen, uh, what would what would be the position that you trade for? Same position or on the offensive side of the ball? I think right now with a lot of the rumors that you’re seeing for the Seahawks, it would be on that offensive side of the ball and it would be for the offensive line. That being said, that being said, I do think that there is a world where Reek Woolen could be traded for another corner. If you think that there is a improvement like Rasool Douglas, right? We had a conversation about him. Hey, if the Seahawks going to go and get Rasul Douglas and he’s going to be your corner in Seattle, that could be a big trade piece for you. That could be an improvement in that corner position where yes, you’re moving on from Reek Woolen, but you get a corner that better fits your system and you’re also not making that cornerback position even more susceptible to injuries. So, that could be a move that you could see potentially. Now, I think that’s a longer shot than it is for the offensive side, specifically the offensive line position, but there have been rumors, there were leaks, you were at least rumored to be interested in uh Roger McCreary, the Tennessee Titans uh corner that just got traded this week. So, it’s not out of the question. It’s not out of the realm of possibility, but I don’t know that uh it’s necessarily your number one option right now in Seattle. Make sure you go in, you like this video. You love the Seattle Seahawks. We’ve got content coming out every single day. You don’t want to miss any of it. I’m going to get into some more of your questions here before we wrap up the show. But before I do that, I need to let you know about the proud sponsor of today’s video, and that of course is Prize Picks. The hard-hitting football action is even better with prize picks. The weather might be changing, but the feeling of being right never gets old. So, keep the season rolling on prize picks by getting $50 instantly in lineups when you play your first $5. Price Picks is simple to play. Just pick more or less on any two to six player stat projections. And if your picks are right, you could cash in. Price Picks invented the flex play, which means you can still cash out if your lineup isn’t perfect. You can double your money even if one of your picks doesn’t hit. Price Picks is the best way to win cash this football season. Which players are going off? Which ones are overhyped? Make your picks in less than 60 seconds to turn your takes into cash all season long on prize picks. I have a two pick power play for this weekend. Sam Darnold, more on his passing yards. George Pickkins, more on his receiving yards. Download the app today and use code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That’s code C LNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. Prize picks. It’s good to be right. Max, what up man? Good to see you. Real one hanging out every Thursday. Love and appreciate you. Do you think Kubak is going to continue getting cute with the trick plays? Unfortunately, Max, yeah, I do think he is going to. It seems to be a thing that he loves to do and I don’t understand why. Why do we need a Cooper Cup pass? He’s 0 for five in his career. 0 for four before the Texans game. Why? Sam Darnold’s been awesome. Let’s leave him in there. Let’s let him throw the football. We’re paying him a lot of money. A lot more money than I’m getting paid. Let’s let him throw the football. That’s what he’s supposed to do. That’s his job. I think I’m over the cute trick plays. Go back to being normal. Run the football. Be strong with the football. Trust your team. Trust your quarterback. You pay him a lot of money. Let him throw the football. Jacob, how’s it going, man? Good to see you. Speaking of trick plays, we’ve seen little of Jaylen Milro, and when we have, it’s been unimpressive. Should he get more experience in games where we have a lead to attempt to get him more experience and play time? If he’s on the active roster, yes. Now, here’s the problem is you’ve had him as a healthy scratch for a lot of time this season. The reason you’ve done that is so that you can get more players like a Shaq Griffin, um Jared Ivy, um used it to get Brandon Peely up more. Um and so what you’ve done is you’ve made him your emergency third string quarterback. So, you haven’t had time to get him into games. Now, if you’re playing a team like the Commanders and the Seahawks love their game plan and they think that they are going to blow out Washington, why not put him on the active roster? If you don’t think that some of your injury issues are going to pop up, sure. I would love to see Jaylen Milro get, I don’t know, a drive, two, three, if you’re up big, why not let Jaylen Milro get some reps? The more reps that you get, I think that the better that you can be. He’s a player that has all the talent in the world, but he’s very raw. He needs his talent to be more accentuated and the best way to do that is to get more reps, to see more time on the field, to watch more film, watch more film of yourself, watch more film of Sam Darnold. Sam Darnold is a perfect example of just being in the NFL for, you know, more than handful of years can put you in the right position. It can help elongate your career or really jumpst start your career back up. So, why couldn’t Jaylen Milroe have this? And he wouldn’t even be jumparting his career up. He’s still a young player. there’s still a lot of room for improvement. He’d be growing his career. So, yes, I would like to see him, but I just don’t know that they’re going to have him on the active roster for those opportunities to come unless they really think a team sucks. Richard Pekk Pak, good to see you, Richard. How you doing? Why not pick the favorite rookie guard and give him a chance uh with Cabled or Richmond? I see what you’re saying. Okay, so Richard’s saying that instead of going to Christian Haynes or Anthony Bradford, you know what you have there. Why not go with Cable or Richmond and whichever one is the better guard right now, have them play? Well, because then your interior would be Gray Zable, a rookie, Jaylen Sundell, a guy who’s only in I believe it’s his second year in the NFL. He’s a younger player. and then you would have a rookie at that right guard position. It’s a lot of youth. It’s a lot of young players that you’d be trusting to be active and to give it a go. I I would love to see what Cable has. I’d love to see what Richmond has, but right now I don’t know if the best option for you is to go rookie at left guard, young player at center, rookie at right guard. And I also think that while yes, I am sitting here saying, “I’ve had enough of Anthony Bradford. I’d like you to move on from him.” I do think it is telling that Mike McDonald very quickly, I might add, shut down. We are not benching Anthony Bradford. When you have a coach that says that, that tells me that as bad as Bradford might have been so far this year, everyone else around him is worse. Sometimes those things happen. So unfortunately right now you either need to make a trade right before November 1 or 4th or you better hope you better hope that John Schneider hits on another guard in the NFL draft. Hugh Jazz, good to see you. Hugh Jazz, what makes Gray Zable so special? It’s his athleticism right now and it’s his football IQ. While PFF hasn’t been as kind to Grey’s Able as I think they should be. Frankly, I think he’s played much better than what the grade they have for him. There are still things that he’s working through. Obviously, he still has his times where he makes mistakes. But when he does make mistakes, Gray Zable doesn’t make them a second time or if he does lose a one-on-one rep, he doesn’t get beat. He doesn’t get burned. It’s like a slight win to the defense. It’s the defense just being able to just hold on to the gap. And with a little bit of extra time out on the field, a little bit of extra reps by years two and three, those aren’t losses for Grayable. They’re wins. He’s so athletic. He’s able to get reach blocks. He’s able to get backside linebackers that just nobody else does. That opens up big holes for Kenneth Walker. His athleticism is what makes him special. You got a real one. You got a star in Z. Light shadow Onyx. Good to see you. How’s it going? Woollen to the Bears. Any players from the Bears right now? I don’t see you training Reek Woolen to the Bears because I don’t know that the Bears have anyone that you’d be interested in. Is there an offensive lineman that sticks out to you that you really want in from Chicago? No, there isn’t really a corner that sticks out to me. I really definitely don’t want DeAndre. If I don’t want Devon A, I really don’t want DeAndre Swift. really don’t want. So, I don’t see the bears trade happening, but that might just be Dread. What’s up? Happy November 1st, man. Thank you to all who served. You are what makes this country amazing. Yes, shout out. It is salute to service month here. Um, so I do want to make this very clear. Uh when we have our watch party on Sunday, every super chat equals a flight of stairs that I will complete. Um I want to show my thanks to those who served. Uh I have a member of my family who is a uh Marine, Grandpa Gary Ortner. Love him dearly. Love our troops. We are the land of the free because of the brave. So I want to make sure that I salute those who served and show my gratitude as well. So, thank you first of all, and I will be making sure that I do my part in helping out veterans uh as best I can, not just in November because it’s salute to service month, but the entire 365 uh going forward. Here’s your week nine matchup. Tomorrow, Seahawks travel to the fake Washington, take on the Commanders, 5-2 verse three and five. I think your Seahawks are going to be able to get the job done. They’re going to come away with a very nice victory on Sunday Night Football. Make sure you subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss out on any Seattle Seahawks news or information. Achane is way better than Walker 😂
Ok fine, I hit the like button. But I WILL NOT leave a comment.
Riq Woolen and 4th for JPJ
Bradford and a 3rd for Skoronski
Win now
I see an oline (jpj) or safety because of Ty
Woollen is staying in Seattle.
Kenny McIntosh got hurt in preseason
Riq Woolen and Love for a vetran right guard.
I used to like your pod cast until you said that your cast is from ……….Texas? When lived in Seattle , that's where the Seahawks played ……
Need another WR, Kupp isn't enough to go alongside JSN. Waddle would be a nice pickup, could trade one of our extra edge's like Hall…. and probably get a draft pick added on top too. It is nice having 4 Elite Edge players in Nwosu, Hall, Mafe, and DeMarcus Lawrence. Add in Big Cat, Murphy, and Reed inside, that's a nasty D-Line.
