The Wemby Everyone Feared Is Finally Here

So far, we’ve seen Wimby block two players back to back, then immediately into a logo three, show off handles and reverse dunk like he’s an elite guard, and make dominant players like AD and Zion look like children. Oh, Wim and the Spurs are way ahead of schedule, and the entire NBA should be terrified. But things are going so well, there might be a problem. De’Aran Fox is injured right now, but once he comes back, it could complicate things. But how is Wimi this much better? Did the Shaolin Monks teach him this? Are we about to see NBA Allstars do karate every summer? Spoiler alert, no. But in just three games, Wimy’s odds to win MVP jump from plus,400 to plus 310. Maybe the biggest three-game jump we have ever seen. So why did people not see this coming when he’s wimi? Well, first off, he’s just 21 years old. And guys that young almost never look like the best player in the world in the modern NBA. Some of the best type guys made that leap around 25. So, how did Wimi do this? Well, the first thing you notice is how much thicker dude is. Like when he came to the league, kind of look like a taller Kevin Durant now looking more like Giannis. But how does that show on the court? Well, just think about KD. He loves to score on the outside. And last year that was Wimi. almost nine threes a game, which is more threes than Tyler Herro, James Harden, and Trey Young. Great to have as a tool, but when you’re 76, go to the rim. Well, this year he is more like Giannis, leading the NBA in dunks. The man’s almost seeking contact like he wants it. So, last year, 37% of his points came in the paint. Now, it is 52% through four games. bulb free throws from five per game as a rookie, four last year to 10. What is going on? This is a totally different person. But we’ve been doing pretty well on prize picks recently. We had backto-back wins then oh so close to going three for three. But look, no matter what, win or lose, I play prize picks just to have more fun watching these games. And the best part for me is the app is so easy to use. All you got to do is pick more or less on a few players stats, get your picks in and watch these games. So, first up, DLo. More on his boards and assists. And then Cedric Coward. Fun rookie to watch. More on his rebounds. Hopefully, we can go three for three. But prize picks is available in all these states, including Texas where I live and California. Like here last year, the Magic switched the screen with Anthony Black. And Black’s like a foot shorter. This should not happen. He keeps Vic out of the lane. So on the catch, look at Wimy’s toes below the three-point line, which becomes a contested long two. So lack of strength was holding him back, but now dude just holds his position this year. Like you are not going to knock me off my spot. Look how these defenders are trying to bully him, but end up getting cooked. But what makes Wimby truly one of one is his ability to handle the ball at his size. So last year had a hard time dribbling through contact and carving out driving angles. This again fed into that shot diet of long twos. Here he initially gets his defender out of position with a shot fake but from there has to attack through the defense, gets completely walled off, settles for a shot, but no one can stop him now. Look at Wimi make Anthony Davis look helpless. AD has been one of the most dominant defenders for years. This is crazy. So aggressive Wimby now. Last year Wimi guaranteed would have cranked off that three, but now instead he’s going to leverage that outside shot to initiate another drive. But this play is nuts. What you are about to see is what makes Wimby maybe the best player in the world. Truly unstoppable facing two defenders, but splits the screen by transferring the ball between his legs. Then keeps his balance at 76. then change his direction on a dime. Ball behind his back. Stride across for a soft touch jumper. No joke. There’s a handful of NBA starting guards who don’t have that ball control. And he’s 76. Game over. I am not joking. If he’s doing this at 21, what about his prime years? We could be watching the greatest player to ever touch a basketball. And of course, that’s just offense. We could do a whole video on his defense, but I just want to show this one thing. Actually kind of hilarious. So, Zion starts the game the other day with a dunk on Wimi. Oh, feeling himself. Good job. But that actually was maybe the worst thing that could have happened to Zion because with all that confidence, he starts going at Wimy and then the next few minutes, Wimy blocks his shot four times. Look like a dad playing against his kids in the driveway. So, was it the Shaolin Monks or working with Aake? Honestly, this is just what you get when you have a driven person like Wimby who wants to be the best. Every offseason, he’s just going to work like Kobe and come back on a whole other level. But the scary thing then is there are like two, three, four more levels to this because he’s so young. But what about his teammates? Because no matter how good Wimi is, you can’t contend with one good player. Well, it turns out rookie Dylan Harper already looks like a vet. The number two pick is averaging 15 points per game, five boards, and five dimes. But beyond the stats, his game just looks mature. He is not overwhelmed. But when De’Aran Fox gets back, he is going to the bench because that was the plan all along was to bring Harper off the bench this year. Back up Fox. But what if he’s ready now? It’s making a lot of people wonder, should they trade De’arren Fox? And I know that sounds crazy, but think about this. The core of this team is Wimi, Dylan Harper, Stefan Castle, two guards in a center. You want to add a third guard to that, or would you rather have some elite 3 and D players to balance out the roster? Well, right now, Fox is the only player on a max contract. And the key to winning in the NBA in 2025 is salary cap balance. Do you want 30% of your cap at a position you already got filled? No, it’s not smart. So, what are they going to do? Well, probably nothing this year. And in the playoffs, actually, they would much rather have vet De’arren Fox than rookie Dylan Harper. But going forward, what kind of trade could they make? Well, you got to look at teams who need a point guard who also have the assets to trade back, like the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, you might be shocked at this trade idea. The Wolves want Fox because with an elite point guard, they instantly become contenders. So the deal is the Wolves get to earn Fox for Jada McDaniels, Dante Danchinszo, and Jaylen Clark for salary. No picks, just players. McDaniels is one of the top defenders in the game. Spurs also get Devenzo who’s a knockdown shooter, which they need, but no picks are even involved because Fox best player in this trade, but he makes 50 million a year down the line. There aren’t too many teams who are willing to pay that price. So, this trade doesn’t look like a normal one. Hey, but what about all these Li Markin rumors? Wouldn’t it be great in a three-team deal to swap Fox’s big salary for Luri Markin? But either way, it might be time for the Spurs to start to get aggressive because Wimby’s window is open. And you never know how long that will last, especially for a guy like Wimi because the one thing hanging over all of this is his health. I hate to say it, but at some point the only thing that can stop this man are injuries. It is very unspurslike to be making like aggressive all-in moves, but when you have a guy like Victor Wimyama, all the normal rules go out the window. But a report said that the one thing that motivated Wimby maybe more than anything else this off season was the fact that Chad Homegrren won a championship before him. And if there’s one dude that Wimby wants to crush, it is Chad. And that goes all the way back to when they were teenagers. So, this is a look at Wimy’s historic rookie year and how his chat rivalry actually began.

  1. i dislike when there’s a gambling sponsor 🙁 I know we’re all making a living in these streets but unchecked internet sports gambling is bad for society bro. Net loss

  2. Harper is already coming off the bench you would know if you watched the games 🤦‍♂️all that’s gonna happen when fox comes back is we’re gonna have 40 minutes of high level pg. castle is best suited for a secondary playmaker anyway

  3. AM Hoops has a sharp eye 👁️ !!! Yes, that 360 dunk was nice but that dribble through traffic against the Nets was the one that had Spurs Nation blown away. With all his TO’s in the preseason experimenting to then see him dribble through two defenders in tight space to get at the basket was just amazeballs. And this was during a Nets rally, a tight game. Just incredible.

  4. Its not just his height, its that he actually has skill which is above what people around his height can do, and actually he has better skills than any other player who is 21 in the NBA. Hes like prime Drose, was just ahead of everyone due to his skills and the combination of his body having a gift

  5. Dude Can Shoot Like KD, Dude Can Penetrate Like Blake Griffin, Handle Like Kyrie, He just need LBJ Tenacity Injury free then you have an Alien

  6. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
    Matthew 6:19-21

  7. The notion that you want to trade a perennial all star because a rookie plays good in 5 games is just absurd. Make that rookie the 6th man on the team and don't trade a perennial all star because of the first 5 games!
