I know Kellen Moore was gonna take over as primary play caller and run his offense, but if there had been anyway to get both it should have been done. Dream Scenario imo would have been Vrabel as HC and Klint still running the offense. Obviously New England was a more appealing spot though.

  1. It’s funny to me how non-ball knowers will always try to distill things you can’t objectively rate into simple numbers like this.

This chart tells us that Ben Johnson, Sean McVay, and Kyle Shanahan are near the bottom of the league as playcallers. Do you honestly believe that? Do you really think Arthur fucking Smith is one of the best play callers in the league?

  2. I’m not sure about Kellen but I am damn sure not gonna take seriously a chart that has Kevin O Connell as the leagues worst offensive play caller

  3. We didn’t have the roster to succeed with him anyway and he never would make proper adjustments

  4. I don’t even know what metrics are used by this chart. I thought Klint did a pretty good job last year, but we should see what Kellen can do when we’re fielding a team that doesn’t absolutely suck before we judge his playcalling ability.

  5. The only time he cooked was when Taysom Hill was healthy and literally carrying the team with us. When Taysom was hurt, we became the most unimaginative team I’ve ever seen.

  6. It doesn’t matter who is calling plays if your players can’t execute. If Hannibal were calling plays for the Saints we’d still suck.

  7. Eagles have been having pretty big issues with their offense this year after Moore left to come to us. I don’t think this chart means anything.

  8. I always thought we should give Greg Williams another kick in the tires

  9. If we’re unironically trying to pin blame on Moore after half a season of an inherited mess, idk what a good coach looks like

  10. Nay. He was abysmal once the good players were out and we have first hand knowledge he didn’t adjust anything, game wise and season wise. One trick pony.

  11. This chart is the equivalent of WalletHub ranking New Orleans as the 78th best food city in the U.S..
