If the cost was low and the Hawks were making a push, would you buy low on Stamkos for some veteran presence for Bedard?

Nah, let the kids play.
No.
No more overaged vets taking a spot from a young guy. Eventually Moore, Lardis, then later on Frondell, Boisvert, and Kantserov will need slots
If they don’t have to pay his contract sure.
Nope. They’ll have a roster crunch by the end of the season already. Burky has already been good for Bedard 👍
Absolutely not.
The definition of a knee jerk move.
Give up assets to acquire a 35 year old who is signed through his age 37 season, who has 2 points through 13 games? Fuck no.
Stamkos fell off hard last year and is falling off even harder this year. This isn’t a 27 year old that had a rough season and could bounce back in the right environment, it’s a retirement age guy that’s been consistently declining across the past few seasons. He’s done.
If the price is right, sure. The right price would be us giving up a 4th round pick in exchange for their next three 1st rounders, unprotected.
