  2. Welp, that was *easily* the most **frustrating** of the 3 losses this season.

    * Lakers coldest white boys trio destroyed us. Freaking LaRavia.
    * 3-ball was dead as hell in the 1st half
    * Demoralizing as hell for us to claw our way back to as close as 4pts after being down big all game with the Lakers scoring at will and every time they’d go on another run of 6-8pts unanswered to balloon their lead again

    Damn Nico for unleashing skinny Luka on the world. At least Jaime stays whooping ass.

  5. I wasnt too upset about the Spurs L but this was terrible with Luka not even shooting that hot. Cant miss the gimmies

  14. Yeah, we need 3 point shooting back. Fontecchio alone can’t be our only sniper. If we’re .500 by the time Herro comes back, I think we’ll be okay.

  15. Hopefully we get our scorers back, will make the offense more consistent. Feel like ware needed to play more, I don’t know what’s going on with him. We good though

    The Lakers aren’t fully committed to our shooters, clogging up driving lanes.

    And Wiggins… fucking Wiggins, the more offensive responsibilities he gets, the more garbage he becomes.

    S/o JJJ tho, as one of his harshest critics last year, I’m glad he’s balling out this season.

  21. 29 points? Fix that my guy had 31. Anyway he is really the second best scorer on the team now crazy work. We have 3 good scorers Jaime, Powell, Herro.

    Also 11 minutes for ware when the Lakers literally don’t have a center is crazy. We need to work on entry passes.

  24. We are without what will be our two leading offensive scorers and barely losing against some of the best in the league. It’s not ideal but we are gunna go on a run once we get healthy.

  25. The easiest money is taking the under on Bam when its 35.5 or greater (Points/Rebounds/Assists) and over on Jaime when its in the low 20s. Wiggins is pretty good at hitting his overs as they have kept it around 24. If Spo keeps a short leash on Ware then his unders will be hot also, they are usually around 19.

  27. I don’t wanna hear shit about getting healthy and seeing where we are then. When have you ever known us to be at full health?

    Gotta hit your damn free throws and stop giving up so many offensive rebounds if you want a chance to win. That simple.

  28. What’s frustrating with these losses is that we were literally RIGHT THERE. A little offensive push, a three to go in and we got the game. A lot of what ifs though. Starters should at least have a shooter in there with Herro and Powell out. Id say Jovic but man he is NOT shooting it well lately.

  29. Them having to dig themselves out of a hole from the first half didn’t help alongside players like LaRavia, Hayes and Hachimura helping Reeves and Luka with scoring.

    Shooting 9/33 (27%) from 3 and only shooting 69% (25/36) from the free throw line as a team doesn’t help either.

    Jaquez still shows that the improvement and him being healthy from last season to this season shows2

  30. Jovic needs to figure his shit out. Year 5, got extended and still a bum. No reason to extend him.

  34. I mean, I know some heat fans don’t want to admit when teams are better but Lakers are simply just better

    Better supporting cast and they actually showed up for them.

    Them changing the offensive system was a step in the right direction but there’s still problems with the roster that Norman powell or Herro can’t fix

  35. Terrible first half defensively. Too many missed threes. Too many missed FTs. That’s the game right there.

  36. Positives:

    Jaime continues to prove he’s the real JJJ.

    Dru Smith still solid.

    Pelle needs to be in the rotation even when Herro and Norm are back. Does a little bit in every facet which is nice to see. Love his cutting as well seems to be the only player that does it…again.

    Offense can still generate points. Remember we had games with Early 2000s scores last year.

    Negatives:

    MAKE YOUR FUCKING FREE THROWS!

    Ware and Jovic. wtf man. They look overwhelmed and overmatched 95% of the time. The team was banking on both of them making a noticeable jump yet both have remained stagnant and look worse. Still early but man…

    Bams shot attempts. Just because the Lakers don’t have one of those centers that “get ranked over Bam” doesn’t mean that was a pass to just go through the motions. The exact opposite. The Lakers big man rotation stinks and he should’ve went at them like he did Wemby and JJJ.

    Wiggins offense blows. He takes a lot of horrendous shots and it looks ugly every time he tries to score the ball. Needs simpler stuff that I’m not sure he’s even gonna get with Herro/Norm back cause he’s done this BS his whole career.

    Fontecchio went cold which sucks but it happens. Shooters shoot.

    Davion will be the odd man out when we get fully healthy. Our defense is gonna be rough especially if we keep going with the Wam combo but hopefully the offense is good. He just doesn’t bring enough scoring the ball to warrant a starting spot.

  37. I said it over the summer, Jovic is just the modern Winslow. The idea of him (oversized point forward) is significantly better than he really is (tweener PF that consistently makes dumbass choices with the ball and has a shaky outside shot). And that’s when he’s not injured, which he always is. Jovic is never going to be more than a bench guy in this league.
