Man I hope PCA can work on his swing this off-season. Be closer to pre all-star break

Swanson>Happ and Pete
And should have the platinum glove winner as well as a ROY award to go along with those 3.
Boyd, Kelly, & Shaw were also finalists…if Shaw can play a full year without distractions, there’s a good chance he wins in the next year or two.
And if you go by TZR or DRS, Busch was 3rd at 1st base, behind Olson (winner) & Steer (finalist). There is *zero* reason for Harper to have been a finalist, as Busch had a much better defensive year, with 5 TZR & 2 DRS for Busch vs 0 & -3, respectively, for Harper.
And this was in an off year for Swanson, where he was merely good (he did have more DRS than Winn, one of the finalists, but his TZR was subpar).
So, the Cubs have 8 out of 9 positions covered with Gold Glove-quality players (7 out of 8 if you discard pitchers)…not shabby at all! If Tucker played like his 2022 or 2024 self, then all of the position players would be top defensive quality.
So proud and makes me that much more ready for next season!
