That was some sloppy football, maye looked nervous out there and the O line was awful. But a Win is a win . 7-2 now LFG

Made the plays when they were needed. Cant fault that.
And it looks like Indianapolis is going to lose, so that’s also good news.
A tale of two halves
It can be stressful but sometimes these types of wins are needed. Also just need the Bills to lose for some more cushion.
the one time we start hot lmao
Made enough plays to win. All your Ws aren’t gonna hang in museums.
The patriots in the last 4 years have lost these kind of ugly games. I’ll take it
I’ll take it! Just gotta hope Boutte isn’t too badly hurt and that Gonzo gets healthy. Those two leaving and the turnover issue totally changed the complexion of that game. Oh well, I’m sure Vrabel and Co will work on it in practice and the boys will put together a plan to work with what we have.
Good teams find a way to win games where they aren’t playing at their best. Previous versions of this team probably would have lost this game.
Can we trade for London lol, made Penix look good
The only thing I enjoyed about this game was watching Diggs get a TD knowing Cardi was in the stands
I didn’t think Maye looked nervous. He missed some throws but he hit that pass to Henry at the end and seemed cool. O-Line wasn’t great but I felt some sacks were coverage sacks.
I was at the game. Had a few heart attacks but glad we won in the end. Maye came up big on that 3rd down conversion.
Maye reminded us he is, indeed, a second year guy. It’s ok, he’s still young. Games like this are bound to happen.
We lost an ugly game and now we won ugly to balance it out
Hoping Boutte and Gonzo are ok. Losing Boutte definitely rattled Drake even if Boutte had a pretty quiet day before he got hurt. Gonzo just looked frustrated after he got up but a bad situation no matter what. Sloppy ass win but still a win.
And good lord can we get some fuckin pass rushers? And a corner for depth because Gonzo is our only consistent playmaker
Good teams find ways to win even on bad days
Still tied for the best record in the NFL ill take it.
An ugly win is better than a pretty loss
You’ve got to remember that the Falcons defense is legit. When they’ve given up a ton of points it’s partly been through terrible offense. This is the first time they’ve given up more than 200 passing yards. When they have a competent offense, which they mostly did today, they’re dangerous.
Maye did play poorly in the second half, but it seems like some of that was problems with receivers (Henry on the INT, Williams cutting in instead of out on that 3rd down). The fact that the offense was a bit off and the defense managed to step up is really encouraging.
Looking around the league at Indy, Detroit, and Green Bay losing games they should be winning, this looks even better
An ugly win is still a win. Keep rolling boys
You mean, “A rugged professional team successfully pressured a young professional team. But a win is a win 7-2 LFG.” Keep the vrable faith, even as fans.
Tom won us plenty of ugly games. They happen! Take the W and be happy for it.
I had a feeling it would end close after that fumble and score at the end of the first half. McDaniels usually schemes well and adjusts accordingly, but hats off to the Falcons pass D.
This looked very similar to the Steelers game, too many times we gave them an opportunity to come back. Lucky this one ended in a W
On the plus side, both Pop and TreyHey looked great.
It ain’t a beauty pageant. The ugly ones count just as much as the pretty ones.
I heard Jim Murray talk about how the Atlanta coordinator is really good, and has shut down Josh Allen in particular pretty effectively, among others.
Between that and Boute being out, I think Drake had one of his hardest days.
Yeah as many sacks as Maye’s been taking, no wonder he’s nervous
After the last few years they get the benefit of the doubt from me. Back to normal next week.
Every game is not going to be a blowout
Pulling out a W even when you play poorly is a good sign imo. They’ll tighten it up.
All I know is it’s week 10 and the pats are half a game out of a playoff bye.
What year is this!?!?
Keep hearing how Pats are looking for a rb at the deadline. How bout we shore up that dreaded oline a little bit? Fix that and they are golden.
Even the Brady Patriots had games like this. One time we won the Super Bowl in that year
This sub will bitch about anything. They’re still not that talented. They are rebuilding. And they are 7-2. That’s really good.
I didn’t expect us to be 7-2 so it’s exciting to be here. There are a lot of areas to improve but this team is so much better than the prior years. We know Maye is the guy and we’ve seen a lot of improvement on defense. The one major concern for me is the pass rush but lmk what yall think.
