HEARTBREAK in Seattle! Mariners ELIMINATED from Playoffs – Fans in Shock After Crushing Loss

And just like that, the shot heard around North America. George Springer ends the miracle run by the Seattle Mariners. God, so heartbreaking. So heartbreaking. I have to be honest with everybody. Uh I played for a lot of Major League Baseball teams. Played for 13 Major League Baseball teams, 14 teams overall. The two teams I have my closest connection with, the Seattle Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays. Played for the Blue Jays in the organization. and worked for them for 3 years. Played for the Mariners for 3 years. Had the most influential part of my entire career. Most influential place I ever played at my entire career. So, I was deeply torn. But my heart, my soul is a Mariner. This was hard. This was a tough one. This was hard to watch. which is hard to watch Zardo come in, give up the home run, see everything the Mariners went through all season long from just kind of being felt like they were they were secondary to the Astros, even to the Rangers in my eyes. I thought the Rangers were going to be a lot better than what they were. Thought the A’s were going to get better and the Mariners just made a run, man. Cal Row Cal Rowy’s back, especially almost the entire year. Julio Rodriguez really picked it up. The pitching staff just does what they do. Munoz’s passing knee on the Mariners um saves list. Um, which is awesome and not staying on 69, which is very important. But man, this is a tough one to see. It’s tough one to see this, but if you’re a Mariner fan, listen to this very closely. It’s getting better. It is getting better. It’s an improving. This team and organization is going in the right direction. What they need is hitters. And they have a whole ton of hitters in the minor leagues that are coming up. Their best prospects are all hitters. They have pitching. They can go out and get even more pitching. I just want to see the ownership step up. We don’t need to go out and go get huge free agents. We need to get the right players, the right guys. Uh and then two, the most important thing I think in this all of this, I’m going to say this is the most important thing. Tear down that whole Patter’s eye, get a new one. So, Seattle Mariners fans, let me know what you guys think. Let me know if you guys think you’re going to make a run again or is this it?

  1. Mariners fans… how are you feeling after this one? 😢 Was this just bad luck or did the team collapse under pressure? Drop your honest thoughts below — let’s talk about it! ⚾👇

  2. I think there was bad batted ball luck involved, jays groundball with similar xBA found outfield grass in the 7th while julio's went for a dp, with better luck that was a dp and bases empty with two outs and M's probably pull through, I think the team is cursed…

  3. I had a really had hunch when Woo issued a leadoff walk in the 7th inning. Sure enough. The nightmare followed. As for needing more hitters, the M's need to sign Naylor. He provides quality at bat all the time. I hope to see Williamson and Cole Young emerge as everyday players. They need to get on base more. The M's also need a flame-throwing left handed pitcher in the pen to set up Andres.
