The only acceptable reason he doesn’t make it at this point is because he’s resting week 17 for a playoff run. 😏
Personally I’d like to see it in 16 games or for him to hit 4,250.
As long as he keeps getting better and stays healthy, hes going to do it I believe.
Holy shit we might actually have a 4k yard passer this year. Cutler should’ve done it with Marshall and Jeffery if he didn’t constantly get hurt

He’s having the best season in franchise history and can still play a lot better.
Very doable. He’s due for a 400 yard game. Hopefully they light up the giants next week, a solid defensive game would be nice. A 31-10 result vs the giants would keep them focused before the tougher stretch after that. Having to play Rodgers and the packers within 3 weeks is awful to begin with but FTP

Last two have been huge for getting him back on pace. Obviously it doesn’t actually matter, wins matter more than stats, but this would be incredible to see.
I am a little worried that he will not be able to do it since our schedule gets exponentially tougher after the Giants game and we will face some really tough pass defenses like Phiilly and GB. Furthermore the weather will be cold in .out of the games that will make it harder to throw well. And as others have mentioned most of the remaining teams have at least one stud pass rusher that will be able to exploit Theo at LT.
I imagine this is why BJ has been working hard to establish the running game in recent weeks due to the toughness of opponents in the second half.
Right now, Caleb is second in passing yards per game average in Bears history. Between Cutler and 2 yards a game above Kramer.
Barring injury, I think he’ll make it.
Man I hope it happens just so posts like this stop. A team isn’t automatically good if their QB gets 4K yards and a team isn’t automatically bad if their QB doesnt get 4K yards. But there’s a certain amount of NFL fans that think you have to throw 4K yards to be good.
I really hope he gets it just so that this fanbase can fucking relax. Yeah Caleb has been inconsistent but he’s far from the problem and still the best QB we’ve had since Cutler. I really don’t get all the extra hate he gets from the media and even from the fanbase
