They had better vote in the 🐐

  1. Bonds, Clemens, and Valenzuela I think should all definitely be in. The others all have a case, Murphy having 2 MVPs puts him ahead of the rest IMO.

It’ll be hilarious when Kent gets in before Bonds because of course everyone still has an axe to grind and a name to try and make off of Bonds. I loved Kent, as a Giants fan and primarily 2nd baseman myself, but I don’t know that I consider his career HoF worthy. Top 5 at his position for 5 years? Idk. From 97-01/02 I could maybe say that, especially offensively. But everyone was high on offense in that period too.

Also to add: Yeah Kent turned out to be a pretty big shithead in a lot of ways, so my fandom has fallen mightily. He was still a heck of a player in his time though.

  2. None of the non-steroid guys really have much of a case – I wouldn’t vote for any of them.

  3. The HOF looks utterly ridiculous without two of the most dominant players of the 80s – 00s. Time will finally fix this.

  4. It’d be hilarious if Bonds and Kent made it together and then had to pretend to be nice to each other
