Head Coach Adam Foote Pre-Game Media | Canucks at Wild (Nov 1, 2025)

heading into this one against Minnesota, how do you find that strong start, but also that full 60? We have to have a good start and like you said, the full 60 because these guys are another team that are coming off uh, you know, some losses and they’ve, you know, they’re going to be ready for us. They play hard. Uh, they’re fast, quick up team, so we have to have good changes and they go that hard. So, we can’t uh have a slow start. We kind of saw it in that last game in the win, but in terms of resiliency, what have you seen from your team? It was good. I mean, they were all over us and we knew that was going to happen. They they were a team in St. Louis that lost a few and they came with it and um you know, Len kept us in it there and we made a couple adjustments. The players adjusted in our neutral zone. We we used the weak side better and got out. And then in uh the Ozone, we really got to the weak side in the Ozone as well. Uh they were overloading us and I like the way the guys adjusted and we were able to uh you know, stay in that one and get the win. Seems like you’ve gotten angry teams for about five games straight, whether it be Nashville or the Rangers or, you know, St. Louis. And now again, what’s the challenge when teams are kind of backed into a corner? We just have to find a way to, you know, get to get upset, get get into it quick. Uh, you know, don’t don’t wait for the fight to start. Like get uh play the right way early. And that’s the challenge when you play these teams that have in these situations.
