[Music] What from that do you think will carry over into what this team is doing? I think it’s huge because I’m on like I’ve I’ve never had one before. I’ve never won a championship like this this team, you know, they’ve won one in the last 5 years. So, it’s the it’s the belief of actually doing it before and they’ve actually done it and I’m coming in with the the belief that I can do it but with the one of trying to accomplish something I’ve never accomplished before. And you know, not everybody on here on this team won a championship. And I think that everyone who hasn’t, they’re trying to experience what everyone else who won says it feels like. [Music] [Applause] I’ve said this many times. I believe in this team. I believe in my teammates. I’m here. So all the other extra stuff does not matter. [Music] First and foremost, super excited to be on this team, you know, be around here, be around the guys and the organization, and just to see some of the Bucks legends walking around here and just really happy and looking forward to being here. Every year, you have to go to this rookie transitional program in the NBA before preseason and all that stuff start. It’s mandatory. And you go through all this programming. They kind of going to give you equipped of what you’re going to be experiencing on the court and off the court. When I get to my station, they pull out the uniform. So, I’m looking at it like, “Okay, it’s big as.” So he’s like like who that’s for? It’s like it’s for you. I’m like they can’t fit this. You know, they like well this all they sent. So I’m like so what do you want me to do? Like what do you want me to do? The jersey is just as long as the shorts, right? So I’m like I’m not I’m not going to miss this opportunity at all. So I didn’t have a choice but to put it on. Best media pitcher all time. I only had like two lessons. Yeah. I don’t need the whole thing. That defeat the purpose. Defeats the whole purpose. [Applause] We going to keep that running. Absolutely. What was it like for you being at the Bucks Foundation Golf Out? That was dope. That was dope. Especially cuz, you know, I do I do enjoy the golf a little bit. You know, I didn’t get to play, but I was there. I got to see some see some talented people, see some not so talented people, but um also just, you know, kind of get a little acclimated with a lot of people who I’m going to be seeing this year, whether it was fans, you know, coaching staff, my teammates. And so, it was a good time. I had a good time. You get away from the game for a little bit. You know, you just take that little mental reset, that mental break. you know, is very important just to kind of stay grounded in this league. I think we all have one goal and that’s going to bring everybody together. You know, the fact that you got guys that are about the right things and guys that, you know, work effortlessly on themselves, not just the games, but just on themselves, you know, it’s people, the mind, your spirit, you know, the body, all that stuff really adds up. He’s got some dogs, man. Honestly, I think that’s the something that makes it exciting to work. This is cool. You got to get a dog now. See, I can’t take care of that dog. That’s the issue. I think this fan base wants to see is is hard work from you and and the care and the love that you have u for the game day in and day out. You said you’re putting in some work. share with us what you’re working on um in the offseason here to get ready for this challenge. Yeah, for me I mean obviously I I’ve been working the whole summer and for me it kind of just what I was doing shifted a little bit cuz all right I found out I’m going to play with the Bucks in um I think this is mid July and so I’m like all right I learn how to play with Giannis learn how to play with Giannis. So I just I’ve been watching a lot of film on um just a lot of the actions with him and then obviously not just him there’s Bobby and you know everyone else on the team AJ you know Scoot and so um just trying to you know watch a lot of film figure out where I can slot myself in but at the same time for me just I’ve been working on my jump shot my handle I’m a firm believer on you know you can’t perfect the game but you can get close to it and so um I just been grinding just literally all summer like it’s been a it’s been a boring summer but I mean boring in the best possible way. impression of Fiser as an opponent. What was it like to play here? Uh it was hostile territory, you know, to say the least. Past couple of years. I um it is definitely one of the loud arenas, you know, I played in. And again, like that’s the beautiful thing about you know, Midwest teams or, you know, um quote unquote small market teams is how much you pour into um you know, what you’ve built over here. you know, um I personally, it’s a fun fact for everybody, you know, if you didn’t know this before, um I’m the first person to ever score an official basket over there when um we played the Milwaukee Bucks to do it for the right team. Yeah, exactly. We played the Milwaukee Bucks in preseason when y’all first uh opened this and I scored the first inaugural bucket, if you will. So, little full circle that I’m back here right now. How many people knew that little bit of trivia? Did anyone know that? We got super fan right here, too. Right in the front. I know. That’s fascinating. Fascinating. Um, a little piece of trivia. What is this guy interested in on the side? What’s his favorite pastime? Oh my goodness. Is that for him? Right now. Yeah. What’s up? Go ahead. So, um, it’s just it’s a it’s a style of play at the point of attack offensively and defensively that we really want to embrace and they can all shoot the basketball. I mean, Scoot was over 40% on the season and uh in the playoffs. Ryan Rollins is a really good shooter. I think he’s going to have a big breakout year as well. Cole Anthony, someone that not only shoots the ball really effectively, but generates a lot of threes for his teammates um in his time in Orlando. So, it just fits a profile of the guys we tried to add this summer. Yeah. And they all have chips on their shoulder, which I love that type of player, the Bobby Porters type of guy, you know. I think we’ve added about four of those uh this year. But that’s how we’re going to play. That’s why we got a good coach. Yeah. We want we want to irritate people to the best of our ability. And to do that, you you need the personnel to do that. [Music] [Music] Um, so first off, welcome to Milwaukee. We’re very excited to have you. I saw that IG caption. It said year seven, but this feel like the one. What made you say that? Kind of just everything coming full circle. Um, I just feel like I had a good off season. Um, new situation for me. Uh, first time with the with the new team. So, I’m just excited to get going. [Music] Hello everyone. How are you guys here? Have you been here since your last game? [Music] You two reason? Yeah. This team is built to maximize Giannis, but Giannis can actually maximize this team. But we understand nothing’s going to be given to us. This this is a team that I think is really hungry to earn whatever we get and they want to deserve to win. And that’s going to be our style of play and it’s going to be playing together and that’s going to feature the best player in the world, Giannis, and a bunch of guys that fit him really, really well. My my confidence is an all-time high right now. You know, I feel really good about myself. Uh I feel really good about the team. Um and I’m I’m exc I’m excited. I’m excited to be there. I really believe in this team. We’re young. I have energy. Like, and I think this a team full of dogs, but I think we’re very, very dangerous team. If you were to be invisible for a day, what would you do? 24 hours of invisibility, what would you do? I feel like I would just Okay, the usual. I’m heading into my prime. You know, I’m 29 years old on my 11th season. You know, I’m in a city now that, you know, wants to celebrate me. you know, somewhere know there’s a great quote that says, you know, go where you’re celebrating. I feel like that’s here and it was my destiny to be playing for the Bucks. And let me tell you how it was written cuz my pops played for the Bucks. So, it was only right. His son played for the Bucks and you wanted to be a reporter. Okay. And so, you see how that all just is a coincidence. It’s not a coincidence. So, it’s fake. There you go. That’s what I was saying. Actually, one more thing. Can you do a dance move for me? Any dance move. Yeah. Okay. Go ahead. Oh. Oh. H. There we go. Thank you. That’s it, Cole. [Music] We got the opportunity to sign here in Milwaukee and I was like, “Oh man, my man G here.” I’m like, “Oh, this I’m with Giannis, you know, this sounds like a good opportunity.” And so I just remember signing. I was just I was hyped. I was hyped. Yes, this is this is this is gas. This is fire. I believe in faith. I think everything happens for a reason. So, it can’t be a coincidence at the same time, but I don’t think nothing happens that’s not supposed to happen. And everything that does happen happens for a reason. [Music] just, you know, seeing where I could pick my spots, pick my poison, and how I could help the team. You know, obviously with just different things, whether it’s a picking roll, spacing the floor, running the floor, you know, anything to help energy giver, you know, contribute towards winning is always my main focus, my main goal, no matter, you know, how they look. I got it. I want to go, you know, I don’t I don’t really want to focus too much on trying to prove to other people what I know I can do. It’s more of a proving to myself. And so I just I want to go out there and be myself and just help with this team win a lot of games. I uh was just like, yo, this is a team that has a championship pedigree. You know, they’ve done it and I think they can do it again. [Music] We think at least three different lineups we can throw out on the floor and and all three are completely different from the other ones. I think that’s what makes this so intriguing. [Music] I think this is a really, you know, interesting, exciting time for us and we have a huge belief in who we are and I think everyone else will see why here soon. We are done. Great. Oh, my time. Uh, I believe in fate. Why? Because nothing is a coincidence. Everything that happens is meant to happen. Therefore, it’s fate. 35. [Applause] I think nowadays in NBA, man, it’s all about camaraderie, all about chemistry, all about playing together, having versatile guys on the team that can do a lot of different things to impact winning. You know, we can’t win a championship without all 15 guys, all 18 guys on the roster. [Music] It’s got some dogs, man. Honestly, I think that’s the something that makes it exciting to come to work, you know, every day about, you know, the fact that you got guys that are about the right things and guys that um, you know, work effortlessly on themselves. Not just the games, but just on themselves, you know, it’s people, the mind, their spirit, you know, the body, all that stuff really adds up. And I’ve been here for about a month now and I’ve I’ve seen that, you know, from a far and it’s something that I think is pretty dope. The entire team is standing. It was a 10 to2 run for them to open this game up late in the game. Got to shout out Miles towards the end of the game there. Like he was the one that said like, “Yo, we got to get up off the bench. Like, let’s we got two minutes left. Let’s cheer these guys on. I love that philosophy by Doc. The Bucks showing you a little togetherness as they play the first of their four preseason games. Those guys that are playing in those last two minutes make us better throughout camp and throughout the whole season. Since I’ve been here from day one, you know, when I got here beginning of the month, everyone’s been, you know, it’s a championship. We we a championship team. That’s that’s the message I’m hearing. And so I love it. And I saw the championship pedigree and I was like, “Y this is what I want to be a part of. This is what the NBA is about. We got win on three. 1 2 3. Honestly, being on a winning team and learning the, you know, the winning culture is something that’s new to me still. So, I’m happy. I’m happy to be in a position to be a part of something that has a winning in history and um that wants to to repeat it. What about the squad? Amazing. Cool. Very very excited. Excited, man. I get another chance out. Excited to be with the guys. It’s a blessing to be on this team, man. Can’t wait, man. Can’t wait. I think I think not just for me, just can’t wait to be with this group, but I’m so excited. You know, we have a young team. I’m excited with how they’re going to embrace the city. They’re going to see that this city really loves this team and really wants us to win. I’m sure you asked this already, so apologies for that. But just did your regular season debut in a Bucks uniform kind of match your expectations tonight? Yeah. Well, off the charts um as far as the energy is concerned, you know what I mean? I feel like um the crowd, you know, I’ve been entering the playoffs, so you know, I knew what to kind of what to expect and again, you know, just definitely exceeded my expectations at that. You know, I feel like um you know, this town obviously love the basketball, the state at that and uh just how hard they go, you know, just for their team, man. You know, it’s pretty dope to be a part of. Hey, good win, guys. Listen, I thought first half I think we we agreed better than second half, right? Yes, sir. All right. Uh defensively and offensively, we had Keep that ball moving. Keep it humming, guys. We had we had stretches in the in the beginning of the game that were beautiful. [Music] This team is incredible. Uh I said it a couple days ago. Very, very, very dangerous team. like a lot of guys that can like play make, a lot of guys that can put the ball in the floor and um get a pucket or make something happen. I think as a team we rather have five guys that can give you 1215 every single night. Don’t expect nothing. Nothing’s going to be given to us. And that’s the mentality that I want this team to have. Go out there and try to demand [Music]
