This entire ownership group and staff can fuck itself. Trust it. Trust in fucking yourself.
I don’t think any new DC could make this defense better honestly. It’s just simply a lack of talent all around. Honestly if we had a healthy Trey the last two games we most likely would’ve won both. The lack of pass rush both games was sickening.
That whole press conference showed nothing will change.
Trust is hard to come by when you give up 39 and 47 in consecutive weeks
Honestly, firing another defensive coordinator would do nothing. We need complete change instead of just continually scapegoating one guy. It’s pretty clear the scheme is not the issue and our draft picks sucking ass is lol.
We knew this would be the case, but there was hope it wouldn’t.
If changes are made it’ll be after the season.
Ultimately unless Duke goes, the Browns sell, and we invest heavily in scouting and and autonomous GM while selling off heavy contracts for draft picks to rebuild the defense… nothing will change. It’s that simple!!!! Lol
It’s mostly a talent issue. Duke Tobin needs to go above all else.
Only chance of seeing this defense improve is Hendrickson coming back healthy. He changes the dynamic of the defense when he’s healthy
This confirms to me that this is a kink thing.
He needs to at least sit Jordan Battle to send a message. The did it with CTB. Battle has been just as bad.
I can’t say Al golden is the problem when last year we thought Lou was the problem and now he’s doing fine with the Colts. Tobin sucks and our defensive players also suck.
Weirdly, I trust Golden a hell of a lot more than I do Taylor
Well, someone has to hold them accountable whether it’s the players or coaches do something
Al Golden is a great DC. He has nothing to work with. We can’t just keep firing DC’s as if that’s going to help the situation.
Tobin is the issue but the inbred weirdo family that owns the team is too scared to work with an outsider so he has a job for life I guess.

Honestly, since the season at this point is lost, and no, I don’t want to see Burrow force himself back into the team this year, I’d rather see multiple players dealt first before firing Golden. Firing Golden only deflects accountability from the players who are in control of making plays on the field.
The players laughing in the locker room after the loss should be dealt first. Total lack of respect on the offense who gave it all the past two games.

I mean I get it. Like if you fired Golden right now, who would you even replace him with? Off the top of my head I do not think there is a single coach on the staff with DC experience and none of them are up and coming guys that should be handed the reins. Unlike Marv at the end as well, Zac doesn’t really have guys that he has worked with sitting on the street able to take over at the drop of a hat. Everyone is either on our staff or on the Colts staff under Lou. We are almost stuck with Golden out of necessity, there just is no one else that is able to come in and take over this dog shit defense, with dog shit talent, and run this dog shit scheme. Now I am sure you could replace Golden and it won’t get much worse because I don’t think he is good either, I just don’t even see a candidate who you could replace him with midseason.
Tbh I don’t think the scheme is the issue, I think the players are the issue, and just overall the infrastructure of the org.
To be fair, Al inherit this and the guys on the field just stink. It is what it is

My God this franchise just sucks sometimes. Fire the GM then, my God this was supposed to be a playoff team. How is this acceptable, this defense has been an embarrassment for 2 years now.
The rest of this year is going to get extremely dysfunctional, even for the Bengals organization.
This is why you have to fire Zac. He’s in over his head and prevents necessary changes.
