But clearly this is something coming from ownership. This is something coming from somebody above Farhan at that time because Kevin Gosman did want to stay and he, you know, he wanted a pretty solid deal and that’s not something that the Giants wanted to do. Well, now Farhan’s gone and they’re still telling us, hey, we are not necessarily in the business of signing a pitcher to a crazy long-term deal. And I don’t know if that eliminates Hunter Green as well, some of these guys that they want to settle in here and there are a lot of teams that are willing to pay. I I understand that it is a risk, but is it any more of a risk than Matt Chapman being signed until he’s 37 with a no trade clause? I mean, at least you know at their height what you’re going to get from them. There’s obviously always injury concerns, but that’s what anyone. So I I was a little bit surprised.
