Not season ending!!!!
We’re the Charlotte Hornets. Vague and nebulous injury announcements are what we do. Who knows when he’ll be back… all I know is that we’ll get the absolute bare minimum amount of transparency throughout his absence. Still have heard basically nothing on Grant or Josh Green
At least we finally have an update with a general timeline. Not season ending so that is good
So this means they’ll give their next update in about 6 weeks then
Wtf
Remember when Tre Mann needed to be reevaluated in 2 weeks, and then nothing ever came of it? I’m expecting the same here. It’s what we do
What TF were they having him do in the off season that got his body messed up like this?
I think the optimism is premature here. I’ve had a dislocated shoulder and it’s rough. Unless the MRI confirms he has no ligament or labrum tear, he needs surgery. Rehab won’t fix a structural issue in the shoulder.
That said, he needs to put muscle on in general to support his joints. The stronger he becomes, the less likely stuff like this will happen. Non-contact partial shoulder dislocation is wild.
Also if he does have a tear. He needs that surgery immediately.
and so it begins….
Excellent news.
There’s no body part that doesn’t have complexities. The hope is with a strength/healing program that he’ll be able to return to the court, maybe sometime after Thanksgiving or something, don’t think we see him back after two weeks, it’s going to take longer than that I would imagine, but hopefully with a strength program to strengthen the muscles around the joint and with time to heal any potential micro/minor tear that he’ll be good to go.
It will take time and he will very likely be wearing a sleeve when he returns but we have seen players return without surgery. It’s just something he’ll have to remain on top of.
I’m not a doctor. How likely is this to be a season long thing to monitor?
While I agree that we’re a joke when it comes to diagnosing/evaluating and providing injury updates (tho we have a new medical staff, right?) I will take an update that wasn’t season ending.
thats just sad at this point
“It’s not season ending” …… are we sure about that 😭😭😭😭
