That being said, yea Geno couldn’t see the guy in his passing lane??? It’s not like he jumped sideways and got a fingertip on it…he was fully blocking the passing lane. Like come on man.

Jeanty being circled is hilarious. He’s on the backside of the entire play. This was basically Lockett 1, Jakobi 2. Geno has a lane for Lockett but it gets batted down at the line. Very likely to be a TD to Lockett if the DL doesn’t get hands up.
It didn’t have to be a bullet pass. A simple lob would have done it.

Monday morning QB. Mind you, 300 pounders are screaming as they actively want to grab you. This still doesn’t show the rotation of the defense and in a second, it’s a completely different look. The raiders have 1 play maker on offense and he isn’t in this frame. That’s the issue. Weird ass play calling all game.

You’re saying it as if Geno had time to make a three-read progression on that play. In reality, he only gets one read, and the rest is just getting out of the pocket and improvising. QBs throw between their arms all the time.

This is where some talented QBs change their arm angle or improvise to get the ball there. Geno could have thrown it higher w more touch. Instead he threw a bullet pass into the DLs elbow. Almost blocked it w his helmet.
