This front office has completely lost its mind.

Last year I shelled out $5,400 for 9 home games. That’s $300 a seat to watch a team that spent the season inventing new ways to blow coverage, miss tackles, and make every backup QB look like a Hall of Famer. The defense is trending toward historically bad — like, “worst in NFL history” bad — and now they’re coming back with a $6,500 price tag for 8 home games next year?

Let me get this straight — you cut a regular season game, field the worst defense EVER in football, and then think, “Hey, let’s charge fans $1,100 more for the privilege of watching this dumpster fire”? Are you out of your damn minds?

Spare me the “upgraded experience in the club level” nonsense. No one gives a single damn about “enhanced fan zones” or “improved concourse lighting.” We come to watch football, not to admire the stadium handrails all while the defense gives up 40 points to whoever’s throwing the ball that week.

You don’t reward regression with a price hike. You don’t jack up loyalty costs after fielding a product that’s borderline unwatchable on one side of the ball. The audacity is unreal.

$6,500 to watch this defense?
Get serious you clowns.

  1. The worst part is they want you to pay extra for upgrades that Hamilton county is funding, so they want you to pay for it doubly while they put an embarrassing product on the field. Fuck this ownership.

  2. FYI: The additional funding from the NFL for the stadium is essentially an interest-free loan from the NFL to the team to offset the Bengals’ cost in the stadium renovations as part of the “G5” loan program. The Bengals pay back the NFL for a decrease in the shared revenue over a certain number of years.

  3. What’s funny is that from a neutral 3rd party perspective the last three Bengals games have been three of the most exciting games of the year. This team is many things, but unwatchable is certainly not one of them.

  4. More money from the NFL? And here I thought that my high school Econ class taught me usually prices are able to be lowered due to subsidies

  5. For those that keep buying Bengals tickets….you’re part of the problem. I had season tickets from 1970 until the current stadium opened. The decade of the 90’s was very similar to what’s going on now. I was no longer gonna contribute to that organization.

  6. This is hopefully good news. Now the local fans will probably be less likely to renew and hurt the Browns’ pockets. Force some change by not giving these hill billys your money.

  7. This is so gross. Even the Miami Dolphins are not that greedy, as bad as they are, they’ve announced that they’re not hiking the ticket prices for next season, some ticket prices are even decreasing and they gave a $250 food and beverage credit to club seat season-ticket holders.

  8. Folks, when you go to a restaurant and get a terrible steak you stop going to that restaurant until you find out they replaced the chef and the food has improved. Not sure why fans treat sports any differently. Don’t worry, some fool will be glad to buy the season tickets you no longer want.

  9. It’s time for a fucking boycott. These rich assholes are laughing all the way to the bank on your dime!

  10. As someone who has lived here his 31 years alive. Yall let this happen. They BEEN taking advantage of yall

  11. On the bright side, you get to see HOF QB play from the opponent every single week! That’s worth the ticket price alone.

  12. This just shows how delusional and clueless they are. Mike Brown is the most stubborn sob there is. His family is stubborn and completely inept at running a football franchise. They need to be forced to sell immediately.
We already know they won’t turn football ops over to a legit GM, so everything is futile till some at the top changes

  13. These mfers are paying 25ish% of total contributions for stadium renovations and they plan on increasing already high prices for tickets? So much of my being wants them to sell this mfing team dude.

  14. Nobody will let this team just leave because omg what would we do without a team???? Fuck the bungos. Pure poverty

  15. The “upgraded experience” is the now provide blind folds and paper bags for your head.

  16. but you made zac, duke, katie millionaires, doesnt that count for something? thats an enhanced experience for them.

  17. 6500 dollars pays for an absolutely awesome family vacation. Why on Earth would anyone pay that to see a garbage product being sold by people that don’t respect their customers?

6500 dollars to watch a team that will not be changed or altered in any significant fashion during the course of the season?

Think of it this way. Someone sells you a very expensive reoccurring product at a certain level of expected quality and each time it’s sent to you the quality gets worse. You complain to the company that there is no longer value unless something is done and they tell you to get bent, enjoy the garbage product. Nothing’s changing. Who is keeping that subscription? Almost no one. How is this any different?

I simply do not understand how the Brown family after ALL these years do not understand that the attitude about the team would be completely different if there were ATTEMPTS to improve the roster during the season. Making trades, trying different guys out from the practice squad, it’s not that expensive to do this. Sometimes it’s almost lateral salary moves.

We have 4 guys right now on the team who are attracting attention from other clubs. These moves should 100% be explored and some guys simply have to go. Why are we waiting? The season is over.

  18. Savvy move to put more money into the stadium and game day experience to try and distract everyone from what happening on the field on Sundays lol. Putting money into everything except improving the actual team smh

  19. I got an email from the Bengals Pro Shop last night about some jersey sale and I lit their ass up

  20. The only team that I have seen drop ticket prices is DC United because they sucked last season. And the drop isnt much.

  21. Im not even from cincy but I have followed the bengals some reason the last few years. I dint blame any real fan for boycotting the trash org.
