I have a hard time talking myself into Kent for the hall. Yes he has the distinction of being the best power hitting 2B of all time. But he was also known as a below average to poor defender his whole career. So would he be a HOF if he played a bat-first position (1B/LF/DH)? Not even close. So for me I gotta keep him in the Hall of Really Good category.
