NHL Highlights | Canucks vs. Predators – November 3, 2025
home to open up a four-game home stand Wednesday against Connor Bernard and the Blackhawks. We’re underway and the puck out of play to start this 5 seconds. Sends it around. There’s McKenzie McKern to keeping it and now Elias Patterson who’s paired on defense with this young parent Tom Von to the other. He lets go to the long shot puts it behind the Vancouver goal. Picked off by Marcus Patterson. Gives the puck away in the corner, but he was able to reach out and hook it away for a moment. Now dose cuts in front. Loose puck. Backhanded with the crease. Demos down. He’s able to grab it. Matt Wilton, young 91 number 71 for Nashville. Here’s Elias Patterson to Quinn Hughes. Hughes in, drops shoot. Stopped by Soros, but the Predators intercept. Fetch down the near side trying to get away from Cissone. Leaves in the corner. Bunching has room. Tries a sharp angle shot. Get for the save. Sorrowos to the side. Marsh is still pressured. Good job there by Heronic to keep the puck with the Predators in. We’re nearing the 5minute mark. First period. De Brusk turns with a shot and a stick save by Jussi Saros. And now he comes out far corner feeds back. Tyler Meyers alias Patterson near side. Quinn Hughes in front. Kane and his stick limit. Hughes on the rebound is stopped by Soros. Can’t cover the puck. Hughes spins it in front. Sherwin is stopped by Sorrowos who recovered to get in position. His only goal came October 28th against 10. Here is Person into the Nashville in passes one down broken up neatly by Pervix who stepped in front of Kane. Now the PRs trying to move in with numbers open in front is Forsber. There’s the pass and he scores on his own rebound. [Music] [Applause] Forsber the finish on a play that was started by Nick Perone and then the Conucks are trying to press things between the blue lines. So wonderful pass right to the forehand of Forsber going to the net. Gets his own rebound. This saucer pass by Shay just lands in time and after the Conucks had some chances around the blue paint. It’s Nashville’s leading scoreer that has Pervix read it perfectly. stepped up to intercept and the puck went quickly the other way with Forsber finishing it off with his sixth of the season, 10th point. Now at the other end, a shot blocker away Baines after the puck. Here’s Lenus Carlson. Now Baines pokes it free. Checked by Nick Haye, but he knocks the puck onto the stick of Carlson. He centers Cissone is stopped by Saros who couldn’t cover. That puck going up and hitting the score clock means a faceoff is in the offensive zone for the Conucks. Cissone came on after Rifle done a really good job to gain the zone. Cissone dumps the puck in, skates onto it himself, puts one across and deflects back to Evander Kane. Near side Kes to Heronic now Kane one-time scores. There’s one that’ll count as Aander Kane ripped it home from about 50 ft and the Conucks have tied the game and won on the power play. A much needed goal for Kane and the Canucks on this road tren. And then they stretch out the Predators penalty kill. The one-time hits the stick up high and as Soros is going over to his glove side. That was Tyson Jo, I think. Yeah, it eludes him. So Kane with the one-time. Son, who’s the one who brought it into the zone, gathered it. Ryan O’Reilly, who scored a short-handed goal when these teams met last time, only the second goal he scored against the Canucks in 50 years. Yeah, that one’s a power play goal. Kane up to Person. Hughes first penalty just about over. Pesser tried to pass for Patterson. Now it gets through. It’s a one-man advantage. Person across deflected in. I don’t know if De Bruss got it or if it went off Shay, but I think it’s Jake De Bruss goal, his third. All of them on power plays. And the Conucks have taken their first lead in this game here in Nashville. Some nifty passing and De Bruss is going to get his stick down just in time. This is up and settled by Patterson. Back to the goal line area and then in front of the net. Patterson puts it between the legs. Besser to the front of the net and de Bruss [Music] was down there. That’s a good shift. The Pred had their top line out previous to this shift and had a couple of chances near the net. Stampos, but now cuts are taking things over again. Beer rushes the puck into the Nashville zone. Puts it in front. Chance for Besser scores. Brock Besser as the foray by Beander gained the zone. He’s got his first point on a goal by Brock Besser. And the Canucks have a 3-1 lead. He pushes the Pred into their own end. Tries to get it out to the front. Does so. An errant puck goes right on the blade of Besser. Comes into a scoring area and just jams it above the glove of Sorrowos. [Music] Bouncing puck in center. Predators able to find it. Maraso moves it under four minutes to go in the second. Kervix is open. He shoots at the post and Patterson clears the puck out. Here’s Sherwood behind the defense. Keeper Sherwood on a breakaway. Stopped. Ryan O’Reilly centers and a swing and a miss there by Forsber. Here’s O’Reilly again. Brady Shade to Luke Evangelista. Goal line feed. Forsber centers. Holla scores. [Music] [Applause] Creds cash in on the power play. Holla has his third of the year. It’s a onegoal game again. And it goes down to the goal line. The Cut’s defense didn’t want to pounce. Forsber with a little rotation. Feet on the goal line. And then he’s going to put it to his backhand and into an area. And Holla is going to back up and be open to get this past the glove. There’s no way Demco is going to be able to get across in time, but they’ve got two here and they’ve got the one-goal lead as we embark on period number three. Patterson, Sherwood, and Kane up front as they started this game. He’s checked, but Cissone gets the puck from the blue line to Heronic. Here’s Hughes making a move. Spins back to the blue line. Quinn Hughes near side angled in front set across and the easy one for Kane. His second of the game as they set it up across the crease and Evander Kane with six attackers on the ice. Restores the two goal lead. Second goal of the night for Kane. Offensive zone for the Preds in the offensive zone for the Conucks. It’s worked to the front of the net and loose puck squirts to Kane and Soros is not getting across in time. He’s diving. O’ Conor throws a hit on Baron. Clearing attempt blocked again. Bunching centers right past the open man Maro. Now it’s ticked in. [Music] Thrown on goal by Stasnney. I think Punting got a piece of it. And the Predators with 808 remaining are back within a goal. with this hit at the front of the net. The pres were pressing. Conucks couldn’t get an entry. This is going to go around off the boards back to the point. Slap towards the front of the net and then to the blue line. Gets a return pass from Blankenberg. Wood again looking to the front. Matt Wood tried to center. It comes back to Blankenberg. He scores. [Music] A deflected puck that came onto the stick of Nick Blankenberg and he wasted no time firing that one past Thatcher Demco to tie the game. Positionally sound and try not to let that pass come through into the slot. Leas Person right there is trying to take away that passing angle to the slot. instead it goes off the bottom part of his stick deflects back to Blankenburgg and he just fires it through traffic making sure his team gets something out of this game. His pass to Meyers who circles back and the Conucks will take their chances at overtime or a shootout. They’re three and 0 and the allimportant face off to start. Patterson draws it back and the Conucks control first. [Music] O’Reilly ties Patterson up. Besser after the puck in the corner. Worked it free for Patterson. Got it to Besser in front. Backhander scores. Rob Besser with a second to go. Besser beats Soros on the backand. And the Conucks in the final second of overtime win five to four. And once again, Besser two on two battle cuz Forsber just blows the zone and Hughes goes with them. Patterson and Hughes come up with that loose puck. It gets popped to Besser. Sneaky little backhander pass the right side of Sorrowos. And Brock Besser claims the extra point for the Canucks. 54 in overtime here at Bridgestone Arena. His second of the game, his six of the season. Person just chopped it in front and Besser on the backhand took care of the rest. His fourth career overtime goal as Patterson just able to kind of heal that one with one hand on the stick and Besser with a backhander to the blockers. [Music]
Brock Boeser scored the overtime winner for his second goal of the game and Tom Willander picked up his first NHL point as the Vancouver Canucks defeated the Nashville Predators 5-4.

What a game tonight. Kane getting two goals, Willander getting his first NHL point, and Brockstar, of course in OT. Won't lie, Boeser's OT goal at the last second was just awesome, reminds me of him in the 2024 Playoffs where he got the game-tying goal in Game 4. He really is the bane of the Predators.
And Hughes is back! Missed him, he's the most important player for the Canucks.
Brocktober may be over, but Boe-vember is here.
What a frickin' steal with literally the last play of the entire game! 😂 Bet that silenced the Nashville crowd for a while!
Can the canucks play one game where it doesn't get tied up in the 3rd and go to OT?
Kane was doing so good.. like that kid at a birthday party that wants to be the one to blow out the candle on the cake. 4 mins left when your leading by one goal and he is warming up the penalty bench again. I swear he is the red headed step child.
Ahh Brockstar still haunts Nashville till this day!!!
refs really doing their best to give the preds a chance this game
Vancouver actually looked pretty good! Nice change of scenery 😉
Killer finish.! Demko is getting screened to much the the d can’t clear them. Maybe have a winger come clear them out while the d does their stuff and the other winger swings. Just sayin. Happy Kane is home!
To be honest, it was a heart attacking game, but win is a win. Brockstar finished the game in OT🎉🎉
Brock is the Predator in Nashville!!
Hello Tom Willander. Goodbye JOP
Why canucks give a goal like every 3rd period?
wat to go nucks
BrockStar X2 Seals the Deal in OT.
Kane Finally Gains X2.
That's justice after that BS penalty on Kane in the 3rd. Happy to see Evander finally bag a couple and how hilarious that Boeser haunts the Preds yet again with a last second goal. 😂
Is refereeing worse nowadays or do we just scrutinize and criticize every play and call a little too much now?
Nice!!!
Ooofie Demko had a rough night 🥹
Will Vancouver ever be capable of maintaining a multi goal lead in the third?
Love those white Nucks unis. Preds yellow? Not so much.
kane had a goal last game too that was robbed by the dumbest ref call ive ever seen
Awesome pass by EP40
Im happy for Evander Kane 🙂 helluva game tonight
What a slick pass from Pettersson to setup Boeser for the OT winner. Willander is looking more confident every game, and it seems like he doesn’t want to go back to the AHL.
His name is Max Sasson and dumbass John Shorthouse keeps calling Sassoooonn
Great win but this team's inability to hold a lead is getting old.
Canucks suck
Yeah!!
Nashville seriously has to hate the Canucks entire existence at this point.
Canucks were some how able to defeat both the Officials and the Preds tonight. 😂😂
Anyone else notice how good Willander looks?
Can we please listen to Sasson's father and just keep it as Sass-en. I don't think I can go 82 games hearing Sass-on in a bad 5th grade level french accent, or it's going to have to turn into a drinking game which sounds dangerous.
Lmao. Lucky bounce in ot and the media calls it a great pass. Just hilarious
What world am I living in? The oilers are choking and the Canucks are coming from behind to win? It’s bizarro world
Two non playoff teams
Wow, what a game!
Love this Willander player could be point man on 2nd unit
I think Ellias Petterson is going to have a really good year this year looks like his old form
Boeser 6 goals good return so far on that 7 year deal
I think Kane likes playing for the Canucks good pickup by the GM
Glad Hughes is back another 2 points for him
BROCKVEMBER BABY!!!
Nice
great to see Kaner bag a couple!
Boeser is the Preds OT killer – shades for 2024 playoffs LOL
And to think the Canucks were close to losing this guy in the off-season. Way to go Brockstar!
Flow-vembor looking good
Tocchet gets much of the credit in rounding Boeser's game.
Brock is such a complete pro now, the A on his jersey really shines on him.
Вот это развязка, молодцы Касатки!
What a difference having our captain back. I think this is the first game this season Canucks had 30+ shots on goal
Yayyyy!1!
Forsberg doing chest pump looks stupidly cringe as hell especially for someone who hasn't won anything in his career
