I started Warren in fantasy because I was convinced this wouldn’t happen. Happy to be proved wrong. Now do the same thing to Gadsden next week
Jalen Ramsey looked like a complete stud at FS, and imo should be there the rest of the time he is on the steelers
Hot take, Queen just needs to drop into coverage more and we need to only rush 4 or 5 if opposing teams are getting easy completions too often. Him getting to the quarterback way to late for easy completions is really poor design, and I was happy not to see it as much
I recall a bunch of doomers swearing he’d have 200+ and multiple TDs on our defense. Yikes.
so the defensive pendulum has now swung back to the other side of the spectrum from dogshit to diamonds.
now let’s stabilize that side of the ball with consistent performances against ALL competition. far too long we’ve played up or down to the competition—let’s just play solid defense regardless of who we play.
I’m now changing my mindset. The last few weeks I’ve been so negative that I’ve been missing what I enjoyed about the game. I’ve made effort internally to try to just enjoy the games. Glad to be on the winning side for this week.
This entire defense is predicated on taking the ball away. We win when we take the ball away, we lose when we can’t. Seahawks game is the outlier. I don’t think any team relies on turnovers more than the Steelers and that’s what scares me. Look amazing when you do, look like ass when you don’t. I’ll eat crow this week because I thought Warren and Taylor were gonna take us to the woodshed but credit to the coaching staff for preparing the team with all the injures on the back end.
I think the best part of this is that he had basically his normal amount of receptions but wasn’t allowed to do anything with them.
It will be unsolved come playoff time, don’t you worry!

We still gave up 313 passing yards. We aren’t winning a playoff game like that.

If we don’t have turnovers it’s over by multiple scores. You can’t get a favorable turnover ratio four games in a row to win a Super Bowl.
Who did we have covering Warren? They need to keep guarding TEs clearly lol
Steelers D still gave up 342 yards passing. 2 Indy WR were over 100 yards. Yes 6 TO but at least they were able stop the run.
The thing is Football is played week to week.
This is what keeps Tomlin a job.
He never loses sight of that
The Colts needed that game to prove they were not all smoke and mirrors.
They proved that their system can be blown up.
We made changes that may play a big factor later and also made adjustments to philosophy.
It seems like everyone( including us) having been virtually begging for a subpar season to get some coveted fantasy college talent that will replace in our hearts what Big Ben was instead of of focusing on the game that’s played week to week
We focus on Tomlins streak not realizing that streak as a team began before him.
Yes we are in football purgatory. Why?
Because of MVP Josh Allen ( a diamond in rough) and Patrick Freakin Mahomes.
The O line is quietly doing their job
The run game is nowhere close to meeting expectations but maybe we are no longer a run first team. Maybe play with the personnel we have versus chasing every single deal out there(That’s Khan’s Job).
We’re good in every phase of the game.
Even with the problems on defense we seem to find a way and basically the secondary was put together in the first four weeks instead of in the offseason.
Now it’s time to execute and we should support that until we see otherwise.
Stop all this Yinzer Hate. We have enough from the media, the referees, the league and other teams.

Now, if we can keep this momentum up for all the other games too, we can make it through the playoffs and finally get to that super bowl because the last time we was there, we had lost the Green Bay Packers and it was done by our current quarterback which is Aaron Rodgers. I want to at least see not one but at least two super bowl appearances for the Steelers and in both appearances that we win. Initially I wanted the Steelers to do really good and make it to the super bowl four times and win all four times so this way Pittsburgh become the first NFL team and organization to have 10 Lombardi trophies. And probably become the first one to four peat even though the very first NFL team to actually three peat even though this was way before the super bowl era was the Green Bay Packers.
I just don’t understand why we can’t be consistent

Yeah that was beautiful. Im not sure what changed, but it was perfect. Took away the first look and the safe TE and the pass rush was actually able to get home and force the QB to be uncomfortable. Uncomfortable QBs make mistakes and we had Danny Dimes looking like he was back on the Giants
