“Same Sh**” Frustrated Ty Lue Reacts To The Clippers 120-119 Loss To The Miami Heat. HoopJab NBA
T that was a frantic fourth quarter there. What um what did you just kind of make for the the last look you guys got um at the buzz? Um not an attacking shot for sure, but they loaded up, you know, um show Kawawaii crowd, but um it didn’t come down. It came down just turn the basketball over again. You know, 16 turnovers in the second half. Same over and over, man. Same stuff. They got by one point I scored 15. nothing on turnovers in the third quarter alone. Uh they finish with 37 points off turnovers. Uh I mean you guys obviously know what to do uh the players. So what was the kind of solution with these turnovers? No, I just can’t have careless turnovers. Got to take care of the basketball. Um and we talked about it’s the only way teams can beat us. If we turn the basketball over, don’t get shots on goal, um it’s going to be a hard night for us, you know, and so um having 16 turnovers in the second half is just way too many to try to to beat a good team, you know. So, we got to do a better job taking care of the basketball. Um, and um, yeah, just run through the finish line. And so, again, tonight, I think we did that. Um, thought we got to start to start the third quarter and um, kind of gave them life and confidence. Um, then it was just a back and forth game from there. Tom, how do you kind of get them back on their feet for tomorrow after something like this? Got it ready to go. This game’s over, you know, and now we got to go to the next tomorrow. So, can’t hang our heads about it. We got to learn from it, you know, for sure. Like, you just can’t continue to turn the basketball over and give teams and give teams layups and threes and dunks. Um, all we got to do is take care of the ball. Does does the defense concern you all six games in? Um, we got to get better for sure. Um, but I got to look at like did the offense did the offense, you know, trigger the defense, you know, like turn the ball over 21 times, give him 35 points, you know, off turnovers, you know, a lot of that has to do with the offense taking care of the basketball. And so, we just got to be better with that. Um, but I look at it, like I said, it’s not concerning. It’s early and, uh, we got to continue to keep getting better, you know, we got to keep, you know, growing and understand what we’re trying to do defensively. Um, but they attacked us. Um they were, you know, they were tough, you know, defensively, you know, and they had the mentality going to get to the basket every single time or make a play for someone else and so it made it tough. Uh coach, can you talk about Chris Dunn performance in the third quarter? The game was close, but he was coming in with a lot of defs and things like that. Yeah, you know, KD’s energy every single night, you know, is great for us. Um what he does defensively, you know, initiating offense when James is getting pressured, um which is really good for us as well. And like I say, KD is, you know, he’s been great for us ever since he’s been here. Coach, uh, less than 24 hours you guys faced off against, uh, OKC. Uh, what type of challenges do you think they present? What things can you guys learn from tonight’s, uh, loss that you can carry over to tomorrow? Well, if we turn the ball like we did tonight, it won’t be close. I can tell you that. you know, so they they strive and thrive off turning the teams over, getting out in transition, and so we got to do a better job of just taking care of the basketball. We know they’re going to strip, they going to grab, they’re going to hold, but we got to be strong with the basketball, and so tomorrow night won’t be be any different. Coach, in the first half, the pace seemed rather fast. You guys scored 71. Offensively, defensively, you guys look great. In the second half, they seem a bit sluggish, a little slower. Were you was that intention to slow the game down or were they just a little winded? probably could have wins it. I’m not sure. You know, the way they play, the way they attack, you know, there’s no there’s no resting on the floor because they constantly moving. They’re constantly putting you in close out situations, constantly making you get back on defense. And so, um, you know, guys could have got worn down, but, you know, we still got to do a better job taking care of the basketball. Ty, balls of your ass is already, but um, what were you hoping to see on that final play? Obviously, probably one game removed from a game winner. just not, you know, giving um calling a timeout, giving us full a chance to kind of put in his defense whether they want to fire or not, just try to catch him on the fly, which we did. Um but they loaded up, you know, pretty good. So um Kawad didn’t get the look he wanted to get. Todd, how much of just the turnovers careless or are part of guys learning each other? How much is maybe just guys better? Could some of that be attributed to maybe not wanting to be selfish, a lack of aggression, trying to get guys involved? I don’t know, but we got to be better. What’ you make of Brad today? He seemed like he had one of his better game so far early in the season. Yeah. um he had a good puff, you know, I think, um having practice yesterday and um you know, be be on the floor and just kind of getting reps and understand what we’re trying to do and um you know, he’s coming along, you know, and so um continue to keep stacking days and games and um have him on the floor is going to be important for us. Last one. I know it’s right after the game, but uh are Kawawaii and Brad are they participants tomorrow? I’m not sure yet. Not sure. For for both guys, that is. Yeah. Thanks. Thank you. Let’s get ready for hoop jab.

Call fn HARDEN out man. He’s bad ass but man, he’s so careless. That’s not winning Basketball
Wtf is gg on w this team fking hell get ur shit together
Blow this team up. Easy ass schedule and bullshitted all over it. And whats so frustrating is when harden turns the ball over he literally makes no effort to get back
"Ty excuses Poo" dude just chews on a piece of gum all game never helps coach the team to win. Steve Ballmer needs to fire this shit can before it's too late in the season.
TY LUE GOTTA GO.
Fire ty poo
You can’t let Lawerence Frank survive the season. This team was shit and we don’t have a single draft pick in rotation
1 Ty Lue is loved by the media. Former NBA players on TV always praise him, but this guy has not yet won anything with the Clippers.
2 Kawhi often made a poor shot selection when it came to the last shot. Last game, against a winless team, dude was lucky.
3 We don’t have a finisher like J Crawford or Lou Will when it comes down to the final minutes of the game.
4 Big Zu is soft … had the man possessed some mean spirit like Montrezl Harrell we would be much better on the board.
The Clippers owner sitting there watching his team beaten by a team with no superstar must be thinking .. why am I paying all the money for this same shyt
Why is Beal starting.. do u not value defense and rebounding??
Bogo nga coach dako lng imohs simod
Clippers are old and bad lol
Bradly beal is a waste..and cp3 is done…
Okc by 50
Brian Shaw can do a much better job than this guy
Game was lost in the 3rd quarter and Kawhi waited to long to get to his spot to at least get a better shot; this team just does dumb things down the stretch!! no consistency or execution you can trust at all in these moments.
James turn the ball over too much dog
Zubac can't defend thsts a fact garbage
He way to nonchalant I’m throwing chairs in the looker room yelling at guys. 20 TO!!! Now fn way
Honestly at this point its obvious Ty Lue's whole system is PNR to set up mismatches for an ISO or to score on it. Off ball movement is predictable, off ball screens, cutting, the things that make the floor shift and open up space for movement into dangerous areas for easy shots is lacking. It is not hard to force turnovers when you know what to expect every time. Design some plays and run them like an actual coach. So much talent that shouldn't HAVE to work so hard to get looks in ISO or fall into PNR abuse.
Ty Lue is a great coach, he just has old players
Okc going to blow my Clippers out ! Tell Harden to cut the stupid passes out . Ty lou very overated. To kool for emotion . I bet if they had powell they would of won .kawhi better play .or they may lose by 30 ty . Put miller in over Beal . What a joke . Watch ty lou play that stupid small Ball against okc . If your not hurt or sick u should play .one thing is true same old shit . Just a bunch of soft players .
