  7. When your coach gets mad at you for not doing the right thing despite being heavy underdogs it shows that he believes that you can do better and if you manage to make them believe, they will show their truest potential. Nick wouldn’t have gotten 25 on the hornets lol

  13. Ayton is getting comfortable. You can see it even though the stats have been solid in the first two games you could tell he was overthinking.

    If he continues to settle in… they can be a legit contender.

  17. I’m not gonna lie, i live in Florida. 10pm EST game, no lebron, luka, reaves. I fully expected us to lose so I didn’t tune in.

  19. something i was worried about coming into the season was Ayton’s effort and attitude. i heard alot of rumbling about how he is so low effort and puts up an invisible 14/10.

    I will say that in most games his effort has not seemed — explosive or super impactful. But his attitude and chemistry with teammates seems to be pretty good. Aside from game 1 – i have not thought – wow hes a bum.

    I missed the second half last night, but in the first half, i was disappointed in his performance and thought – well this is why they bought him out. They paid this man 35M and he cant carry a team at all. I will need to watch second half to see where in the hell his near 30 points game from!

    Overall – hes been great to have on the team for the money we pay him.

  26. JJ is a far better coach than Darvin Ham ever was. Good defensive play is what wins basketball games. And the Lakers finally have a lot of offensive firepower. Look for them to go all the way to the Finals!

  32. Darvin Ham actually got me to stop watching regular season Lakers games. It was too painful. I am a true believer once again!
