Howie’s drafting has been absolutely transcendent

  1. He’s killed it the last few years, but I still feel soar about passing up on DK for JJAW and then the following year taking Reagor over JJets. Maybe those terrible picks were what made him the GOAT now.

  2. Zack baun should be claimed by us too, fangio saw his potential from special teams play and turned him into dpoy caliber

  3. Far and away best constructed roster in the league. If we don’t repeat it’ll be our fault.

  4. The drafting has been great, but there is also a lot of this that can be attributed to player development.

  5. Truly a rare feat for a GM to be this consistently good at drafting. An impressive combination of skill & luck.

  6. With all the dead cap he better keep drafting well or we’re going to see a rough couple years lol

  7. Gotta appreciate this, I’ve been a fan since the 70’s, seen some great teams, great runs but nothing comes close to this. I never in a million years thought the Birds would be THEM.

  8. Think it’s easier for a HC to have success when most players are home grown, no baggage from other teams, you can impose your philosophy directly when the guy arrives. Only player stirring up some “drama” atm is not a Philly pick

  9. Damn never seen it laid out like that, actually nuts even with the credit Howie already rightly gets.

  10. Jalyx Hunt and Jihaad Campbell aren’t even on there . . .which is even more incredible

  11. Every single guy who wasn’t drafted by us still had their best year in Philly. Hopefully that applies to Phillips too

  12. And when we do bring guys in there’s not many misses. Adoree Jackson is mid but that’s the only name that comes to mind. Even the guys in smaller roles are hits. Dotson has been great on his role. Bigsby great in his.

I have really high hopes for Jaelen Phillips. You put him on this line with a DC hrs familiar with I think he’s gonna crush.

  13. Idk why more teams don’t just use his strategy of “best player available regardless of position”.
