NHL Highlights | Lightning vs. Avalanche – November 4, 2025
is that both teams want it. The fourth line starting for Tampa. They bring energy and for Tampa, they want to put Colorado off Kilta here at home where they’re tough. Yanni Gourd, Jack Drury, who wins the face off on the draw. Sit back and enjoy this one. Drury now for Gabriel Landis Scott for the short side and Vaselki will swallow up that one. Rolled around and controlled along the boards now by Tampa Bay’s Yanni Gourd as it goes deeper in that avalanche zone. A strip, a shot, they score. Nikita Cucherov. Now you see him, now you don’t. 1823 left in period one. Tampa Bay off and running. Nikita Coutro jumps on the ice fresh. He’s on the right part of your screen. He’s coming all the way back. He’s able to steal the puck. Wedgewood thinks that Mar is going to move the puck wide. He doesn’t. You see the goalender just a step slow to get back to that near post. Uh you mentioned it that Yanni Gor live with Homeberg and Gurgensson’s 10second shift and they get about out there again get momentum back and Jared Bedar is having a little chat here with the official early stages of period one. John Portland Eddie old check Jody Shel in a high spot. Jake Gensel a quick shot taken by Proer denied by Wedgewood thinks about the slot. Cozer with a shot. It sizzles wide. Serelli Cooerov shut down by Wedgewood and swung across by Brent Burns, but it’s picked off. Tampa Bay on the march. Homeberg going wide of Burns. The trailer. Mcdana shot stopped without rebound from Wedgewood. Here we go. Atlanta Carl Edward Mast the rookie in his sixth NHL game and the Avalanche captain wants to set the tone here from the seat of his pants. le and broken up and Yanni Gourd is out to center ice for homeird who hits a hole off a stick. Swept along by Wedgewood moved along by Parker Kelly of Colorado to the point. Manson with a shot rejected. A kick saved by Vaselki. A turnover. Bulletson shot blocked and the Lightning get it out. James now will go cross corner. Faggel got lucky there. He turned the puck over right in the slot area. Parker Kelly out through center backtracking. Tampa Bay gets control. Gonzalez. Gage. Gonzalez. Defended by Devonte. York Strand to the point. Moser. Now Headman off a stick. Stopped and frozen by Scott Wedgewood. A skateboard off Cerelli. That’s where that puck’s got to go to the net there. You got to recognize you only got a couple shots on goal. Kale Mar straight away. Down deep again. Nas will wind out again. Republican. A great stop by Vaselki. Matushkin again for Nous. His shot off by Vaselki. Mar to the corner. Relatively easy call for the official. Marty Nis will go downhill now and set up McKinnon. A shot again. Stop the rebound. They score. [Applause] Victor Olivesson flashing on the weak side. He’ll emerge as the goal scorer. Colorado has tied it. But they just had a power play. They were set up in the offensive zone. See how high they are right now. Now as this comes down to your screen quick attack by McKinnon. Quick hands to keep that alive and on the back door. There’s Olson. That’s the key, Jody, because if you remember on the last power play, McKinnon threw it down to Nius. Nius did not attack. They switched and McKinnon just takes it right to the blue paint, forcing Basilleski, forcing Ryan Mcdana, the NHL Network. The Rangers and the Red Wings. Rangers are probably happy to be in hockey town on Friday night. No doubt about it. Another tough night at home. Yeah, first game of our double header tonight. Yeah, the instantaneous information that they could get from the coaches or as you mentioned Jody uh grabbing the tablet and there’s a chance out in front. Wedgewood. They’ll wind it along. Picked off by Devont Taves. The headman out. Here come the avalanche. McKinnon. He’s flying. A shot stopped again by Andre Baselki. Down deep. Turned out by Cerelli. James will settle it back. Now Stew tipped on by Bjork Strand. Great save by Scott Wedgewood. And we wish his family of course all the best as they have gotten through a situation you’re very familiar with, Edo. Yeah. And uh again, Colorado does that here. We said it in the first period, but they’ve got to engage a little more and get a place a little quicker. Off the face off, Jackan right on. Stopped by Basilki. He does a snow angel. He’s got it. And back out to the center zone. Good play by Moser there. Right in point with a shot swallowed up by Wedgewood. No further play. Cycled out by Cooerov. He’ll wind a shot blocked in front available and pounced on. And the Avalanche will get it out thanks to Sam Molinsky. Hegel took that one in midsection. He’s headed to the bench very very slowly. The shot from Cooerov. Landis to the slot. They score. It’s Victor Olivesson. He’s having a night. That’s the danger, right? We talk about Tampa having control here. And now as Colorado gets down deep. That looks like a misplay or was that an intentional pass across to Olison. Yeah, I think he fanned on it. I think that was Drury. Landiskog made a great play to be able to get it and I think Curry was trying to get the puck to the net and Olivesson. Yeah, he was. Hey, they’ll take it accidentally to the middle. They haven’t been able to get in there and get a real clean look. McKinnon sturdy on the boards. Leaning sets up a man in Nes whistles wide. Nes stopped the rebound. A beg of humanity out in front of Churnack. Chernick’s hurt. He’s been hold he’s been holding his face ever since the play was in the corner. Gourd with a shot caught by Scott Wedgewood holding his nose. Here’s what the first opportunity off the post and then nature shoots this one. Minsky stretches off the ice. drops Ross Colton. He scores. Ross Colton, the former Tampa Bay Lightning on a down and out. The Avalanche by two. Off the faceoff, [Music] [Applause] [Music] flies the zone. I want everybody to watch this puck goes off the post and then off of the right skate of Andre Basilki into the back of the net. Post skate. Burns on the ice to say, “Hey, be aware of him over there if they win the draw.” Brock Nelson, who won that faceoff, has the puck off the pad of Vaselpski. stepped on the ice right after Celli right through the goal mouth with Gensel lurking out in front. Edmond got a stick on that shot at the last second. Nis right in kicked out again. Vassy comes up big and a heavy collision and a penalty is called get that puck and get it up to the neutral zone. Tampa Bay has a fivegame winning streak on the line here tonight. They will stay on the road. They will be in Vegas on Thursday. One shot on the power play. Nelson is released. Thou Braden Point. He’ll step in. Drag it by Tavage. He scores. What a goal. Braden Point. A lifeline for the Tampa Bay Lightning early in this third period. [Applause] It just seemed from up top is that when Braden Point entered the zone, held in by Taves, Nathan McKinnon up top. Here’s Mar with a shot picked off by Andre Basilki. And then Mar gets the great chance. And Basilleski flashes. Yeah. Well, you learn something new every day. Now here’s a chance for the Lightning to tie the game. An excellent pit out in front. The Avalanche content to salt away some time here. Pops out. Scooter off all the way across. Club down. Wedgewood says now it’s four. It wouldn’t go. Headed. Coocher. FL by Mar. 9 seconds left. Headedman to the line. Coocher. The final hope for Tampa Bay. Burns will get to it. That’s all. [Music]
Victor Oloffson tallied a pair of goals, and Ross Colton fired home the eventual game-winner as the Colorado Avalanche edged the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2.

47 Seconds and first
We got a Landy fight! Lol.
Beautiful backhand by pointer โก๏ธ
2022 NHL Stanley Cup Final rematch
If we can just win every game in regulation, and never go to OT again thatโd be great ๐
Lets Go Avalanche
6th nhl game and you want to fight Landy? Big ambitions kid haha. Good win by the Avs.
I don't give much for the "fight" lol, but it sure is nice having Landeskog back on the team spreading his energy…
Drury is almost as good a face off man as his uncle Chris was.
8:40 Point might be the smoothest I've ever seen going from forehand to backhand
Go the Avalanche
7:00 Gourde kind of clowned them damn.
If you're going to pretend to fight at least put some effort in. What a joke
Avs hot more than ever
Goalofsson is back!
Also, 8:16 you can see why NHL doesn't like higher resolution and why they are still 720p. Look at what happens to the board advertisement. Too much detail and the ad flickers which is highly distracting.
Thanks oloffson โค
Letโs go boys!! ๐๐
Go AVS๐โฅ๏ธ. Gabe๐๐๐
