Jaylen Brown Not Happy w/ Refs: “Getting tired of that sh*t.” | Postgame Interview 10-31 (FULL)
Jim, you guys were up big in the first half. Their runs are going to happen in the NBA, but what went into stopping it and sort of like, you know, controlling the second half and their, you know, bending, not breaking. Um, just getting back to being composed. Kind of lost our composure a little bit. I did for a second, you know, getting too much involved with the officials. I got attacked. It was the office was deserved, but um just play basketball, keep my team composed. That was on me. How important is your new defense in sort of like keeping teams uncomfortable even when they get out like that? Like do you think that’s helping? Yeah, I mean it’s different than how we’ve guarded in the past. Um more so protecting the rim, but uh we’ve been doing a good job. First shot defense has been good and now we’re rebounding at a pretty good rate and that has changed the game for us. What’s been your frustration in some of those moments? Um, I think just getting to the line or, you know, I’m my job is to go play basketball. I’m not an official, but I think they allowed him to get away with a lot of contact on me and I just be getting tired of that Joe, when you guys lost a few games, you pointed pretty specifically to the rebounding. What have you seen recently and particularly today after that run in that third quarter? You guys had some big offensive rebounds. Big time rebounds at the end of the game. Big time rebounds. Um, two stops to win the game. That’s a good sign of a good team. Like missed the free throws, I missed my free throws, turned it over. They had two opportunities to win the game and we got two stops. Like that’s what I’m talking about. That’s Celtic basketball. Finished it with two great rebounds. Um, I thought we did a good job. John, did you change anything in your three-point shot this season? You’re shooting near 50%. Is it just more confidence or just a good rhythm? Um, did I change anything? No, I just think I’m looking forward more. I think last year we had a our style of play was different. We had a bunch of three-point shooters and my job was more so getting into the paint to find those guys. So, I didn’t, you know, I shot threes, but really wasn’t looking to. This year, I knew this year was going to be different. So, you know, I just got, you know, more back to the basics of just being who I am and and who I’ve always been. So, you know, different opportunities, different roles, different years called for different things. And this year, I’ve been able to get some shots to go in, but let’s try to keep it up. A lot of new faces, less experience. You know, they’re at home, so they’re allowed to get away with it, I guess. So, you know, I take my, you know, accountability. I just got to be better down the line. How important was X for you guys down the stretch there coming in taking on that unbeaten? X was great. X was made huge shots, stops, rebounds, offensive rebounds, everything. X played phenomenal down the stretch. That was excellent for him to be in the rotation, play, and just be ready to go. That was excellent. Does it change does it change the feel at all of the locker room when there’s actually 11 or 12 guys that can go in any given night versus like you always said stay ready but realistically most guys were not going to play like is it teammate is it different at all just in here? Yeah, I think it’s more fun. I think it’s more fun as a team atmosphere cuz any given night you could be a contributor to win it. You know, I know it gets hard. You know, I’ve been in those positions where you just want you want your name to get called and it just doesn’t and it just piles up game after game after game. mentally could be tough, but each and every night, you know, depending on the matchup, playing 10 to 12 guys, you can have your opportunity on the floor. So, it’s uh I think it’s more fun that way for everybody. Off of that, how would you describe the chemistry from where you guys started game one to where you are at right now and the comfortability within the locker room? I mean, it’s still early for us and we still figuring out a lot of stuff like different spots where we could be better. We got to figure out how to get uh D White going. We got so much room for improvement. So, it’s early. It’s early for us. So, we got a lot of work to do. I’m looking forward to it. Thank you, everybody. Thank you.

Let’s go Champ!
Victory smoothie
Pritchard and D. White combined for 33 shots, 14 more shots than JB. Yet combined they made 30 pts to JBs 32. JBs 3pt shots were 4/7 while Pritchard and White combined for 3/16. Simons took 21 shots total. Thank goodness for JBs extreme efficiency.
Go JB! Now I want a smoothie.
Jaylen Brown ENTER h!s 3rd YEAR PRIMES this season 💪🔥💪
Tell them JB the way the ref letting the team hack you is diabolical like if this Shai with flail they calling a foul .You shoudnt be shock had 2 years shooting in the high 30 and brown is a rythms shooter
FMVP
the problem with refs and "physicality" is the obvious bias—players want consistency, they want whisltes applied fairly. but y'all seen Embiid falling over his own shoe laces *beeeep* and someone breathe too hard on Maxey *beeeep* .. meanwhile the Cs players driving to the rim more, getting hammered more, and getting zero from the refs.
this was a battle, tough D in general—though less engaged from the 76ers, if we honest—yet somehow the refs gave the 6ers 29 shooting free throws, and the Cs get 12?? refs be laughing they MFAO, bailing out the 6ers at every opportunity.
JB looks like he’s back
I've said for years sadly if Jaylen and Jayson want calls, they need to flop. The fact they need to flop is sad but its the only way that he'll be rewarded.
jb great job but the penciled in hairline is a Lil bit too much…
Love it that you putt the date of the video in the title.
Joel Embiid got some weak ass calls this game. And he flopped for them too. He's so soft and that's why he's never made it to ECF
JB time to open smoothie bar! But seriously refs need to start treating you with respect as former MVP. . Maybe they didnt like the “do not bet on me line” 😂
I'm with you Jaylen ☘️☘️😎
Jaylen is a great leader
Can anyone tell me what KIND of smoothie that is?!? Need to know
