NHL Highlights | Blackhawks vs. Canucks | November 05, 2025

And he begins on the line with Elias Patterson at
center of Ander Kane on the left and the Conucks control first with Quinn Hughes beginning
the game paired with Phil Heron at a pretty critical time of the game. One the Hawks
took issue with. Here’s Louis Kreb with a long shot left. Save and the rebound chipped
high by Nazar as he tried to go over the pad and under the bar and Nazar missed the net. Now
a shot from the other side. Lank in a stick save and the puck is punched away by Tyler Meyers
as we hit the threeminute mark. First period, no score. Baines is in on the left wing to the
net and he’s stopped by Knight. The defenseman went crashing into his own goalender. Here’s
Heronic moving in from the blue line. Wrist one in front. Knight the save on that as well. Get
over the Chicago blue line. Besser just going to let that puck go to the blue line. Now he’s
able to tap it back to Heronic. Love point. Marcus Patterson across one-time and a stick save.
Also the right pad there for Spencer Knight off Jake De Brusk. Canucks keep the puck in. Besser
shoots. Stop. Rebound. De Brusk put it wide. Puck clear. Oliver Moore brings the puck in for the
Hawks. Feeds one back. Donado. Stopped by Lanken. his best save early as he came out to challenge
on Donado to keep this game scoreless. Moore back in his own zone. Can’t get the puck past Drew O’
Conor. Okconor towards the net. That hit the side of the goal at Ratu after the puck behind the
Chicago net. Gets it in the corner. Feeds back. Here’s Vander. Wrist shot stopped by Knight.
Another rebound and the Hawks able to force the puck out to center. Sherwood finds Ratu and
he’ll head to the bench after playing the puck into Chicago territory. This is polar opposite
of the game in Nashville. That was a grind. This is a sprint. Sherwood was a little slow to get.
He blew a tire moving in to try to pressure the goalender on the forche. Marcus Patterson pass up
the middle. Gets through to Kane. He’s in end of his shift. Takes the puck behind the net. Tries
a wraparound stop by Knight who also stopped the rebound. He’ll jam it back to the near side.
Connor Murphy gets the puck behind the net for Vertus. Hei puts one in front. Puck loose in the
crease and grabbed by Lank and it well at all. Yeah, I went in very awkward into that boards.
Myers along shot tipped rebound. Here’s Carlson and he was stopped by Spencer Knightson is able
to get there first, get the deflection and then find that rebound. He hasn’t. De Bruss gets to
it. Can’t move it out. But following up is P. Joseph connects with numbers through center.
And here’s De Bruss up the gut. Jake the Brust off the shoulder of Knight as he was able to get
it on the forehand and shoot all in one motion. That didn’t work. Puck is back out to
center. Bernard has it. Conor Bernard wheels over the Vancouver line through
the defense. Poke check by Lanken. Patterson. Peronic. Hughes. Dying seconds
of the period. Moves to the middle. Quinn Hughes shoots wide. Puck comes loose at the
side. Penderson trying to jam it on Pull with Myers takes the puck off the boards trying
to leave for Riel, but that slides out to neutralize. Quinn Hughes turns to the
puck. Oh, here’s Riel through the defense. He’s in. He’s stopped by Knight and do a half
circle and get it back. Come roaring in. But you can see that Spencer Knight read that he
was going to go five hole and got down early. Spencer pressured by Hughes. Classic on the far
side. Gave it away. Garland cutting in. He digs and a left pad save by Spencer Knight. One timer
across. Here’s a giveaway right to the front of the net. Gets his own rebound too. Sherwood
will head to the bench so the Conucks can get a second defenseman out there. Jumping over
the boards as Marcus Patterson. Give away Kane hit the post. Person hard pass left point.
Marcus Patterson back to Heronic with room. Phil Heronic wrist shot blocker save bump and
going down was the goalender. O’ Conor scores [Applause] and that pulls the forwards
up high and then Herona gets it back. Okconor’s battling. You’re right. I mean,
he’s finds a way to extricate himself from the mess and it’s the second chance at
it. Talk about moving and elevating. Well, there’s a little bit of that in this scramble,
but underneath the goalender who’s prone on his back and Blastel wants a word with the referee,
but we’ll see if Well, he’s getting pushed into backed into by Grizzlick and then now he just
pushed forward there, but did Grizzlick force him to do that just to try to keep his balance
right and then after the coach’s challenge was determined that there was goalender interference.
So he definitely kind of pushed forward with the two hands in a cross check motion. Frank Nazar
to the blue line. Murphy risks one wide. Vertusi takes it off the end boards. Tyler Vuzi turning
with a puck. Puts one across. Grizzlick in front. Blake in a sprawling save off Murphy. But he had
to be sharp on this one off Conor Murphy in front. Here’s a play in the Vancouver and Kreb with
a blast that change direction. Loose hook and Langden made the save in tight off Ma Cone
in the back of the leg. Hawks look to take advantage. Colton Dock back to Connor Murphy
left point. Grizzl Carlson puts one in front. Bertusi scores. Tyler Bertusi from the side of
the crease finding on in off his skate and the Hawks draw first blood. 306 into the third.
Right off his skate. [Applause] He’s going to cap out as he’s going to come down the
wall. You’ll see he moves his right foot, opens up. Was there a tiny bit of a kicking motion
there? Kind of connected his skates together so it wouldn’t go anywhere close off one then the
other but that’s a I take it back right of all the glorious scoring chances and nice plays and
it’s one off escape that gets the first goal of the game Garland had a chance on the give and go
with Kane here’s Bernard as the power play for the Hawks continues across now Burausski shoots and
that was blocked by Marcus Patterson termin here’s There’s Connor Bernard. Watched by Connor Garland.
Puts one in front. Ember Tuzi’s got another from the same spot this time with this stick, I think.
And the Hawks on the power play have doubled their lead. It’s two to nothing. Pulling that puck in.
He’s a shooting threat. But Petusi’s going to get down low. So it either will go off his stick
or his skates. He hopes he pushes off here. He choked up that top hand and the stick goes down
a little bit lower to prove the lie on his stick. He just guides that in. Marcus Patterson
late. Blackhawks power play. Two nothing. That was a very Connor Garland like
finish. Yeah. Stealing the puck is m behind the goal. Oliver Moore puts one in front.
Donado couldn’t pull the trigger, but Mave scores. The former Canuck able to roof that one past Kevin
Lanken. And the Hawks with three here in the third have opened up a three nothing lead. And the Hawks
just kept pressing. And so Mave’s going to get to the front of the net. Everyone’s chasing and
it’s going to bounce off Donado. And Mave is kind of watching to see where the puck’s going
to end up. Well, it’s going to end up right on his stick here. And he finds it past the blocker.
[Applause] Ryan Donado off the bench picks up the puck at the blue line. Skates it in. Tease it up
for KVier. Loose puck for the hat trick. Scores. Tano Matusi with a threegoal third period. Defense
were trying to clear the front of the net and find that puck as well. Well, Donado is going to do
the stop and start and it bounces off Lankin and Meyers at the same time and Bratusi’s
just going to wait and then rip it upstairs. There’s been a lot of rebounds for Akovski
across puck bounced off the stick of Green Joseph collects for Vancouver able to
get it off the boards and ahead to Auatu. Two-on-one here with Brock Peru shoots. He scores. Good play there to allow this twoon-one to get
to Ratu. And he doesn’t over complicate. He had the opportunity if you want to try to muscle
it through a shot instead. Garland sifts his way through center side. steps and check
out Murphy as he plays the puck into the Chicago zone. Hawks play it off the glass.
Can’t get it out. Garland from the corner to the blue line to Von. Two minutes left.
Canucks trailing by three. Kane scores reach unless Person sacrifices
a body. Gets another shot block. And then you’ve got the one-time. Kane
is waiting for it. Hughes puts it on a platter and on his 100,000th shot
of the game. Seems like it scores. Hughes shadowed by Badar. Gets the puck to
Patterson who risks one in on Knight who thought about it. Gets the puck to Senator Bernard. He’s
got an empty net and he’s going to have his first goal in Vancouver. Conor Bernard able to get it
into the net on the back end. and he ices it here to make it five to2 in the final minute. Goender
thought about trying to hit the net. Didn’t think he got enough on it, but Bernard was sneaking
behind things. You’re not really going to catch him, especially with an empty net. And two assists
in his first ever game as a Blackhawk against Vancouver. That was in Chicago. Plays the puck
into the Vancouver zone. Gets it again at center. He might try for one last one. Puts the puck in
front. Hazar missed it. And that’ll do it. The Chicago Blackhawks end an 11game head-to-head
losing streak against the Vancouver Conucks.

  1. Zero goals in the first 42 shots is actually impressive. I’m pretty sure I could score at least one goal on an NHL goalie in 42 shots.
